MUARABULIAN - Keberangkatan Outing Class Siswa dan Guru SMA 1 Batanghari menjadi peebincangan, Pasalnya, Pihak Sekolah diduga tidak mengantongi izin dari pihak dinas pendidikan provinsi Jambi. Bahkan pengawas perihal keberangkatan tersebut studi lawatan sejarah ke Provinsi Bengkulu itu. Kabid SMA Provinsi Jambi Hermadeli diwawancarai via telpon oleh awak media pukul 11.00 WIB, Kamis (23/02/2023). Dikatakannya, dirinya belum mengetahui informasi keberangkatan lawatan sejarah ke luar provinsi yakni Bengkulu, yang dilaksnakan oleh SMAN 1 Bqtanghari. " Sampai sekarang belum ada suratnya, soal keberangkatan saya tidak mengetahui hal itu, suratnya belum ada saya terima," singkat Kabid SMA Hermadeli. Terpisah Korwil Pengawas SMA Kabupaten Batanghari Moncot dihubungi, juga tidak mengetahui prihal SMAN 1 Batanghari yang memberangkatkan siswanya lawatan sejarah ke bengkulu. Bahkan, kata Nuriwan Bakti yang merupakan pengawas SMK menyebutkan terpisah, seharusnya pengawas berikan surat pemberitahuan. " Secara prosedur pihak sekolah harus memberitahu pengawas, karena ini merupakan bagian tanggung jawab pengawas. Selain itu, surat izin dari diknas provinsi keluar barulah bisa melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut," ujarnya.
