MUARABULIAN - Ajang seleksi bibit persepakbolaan tingkat pelajar SMP sederajat Gala siswa Indonesia (GSI) kabupaten Batanghari resmi ditutup. Keluar sebagai pemenang yaitu SMPN 3 Batanghari setelah menumbangkan SMPN 9 Batanghari dengan enam gol tanpa balasan. Senin (08/04/2019) kemarin di Koni Muara Bulian.
Hadir dalam penutupan final GSI tersebut Kadisdikbud Batanghari, Dra Jamilah, Kadispora, Kasi Mutu Kurikulum Emiliya, Ketua PSSI Batanghari Tandri Saputra,para official pertandingan serta ratusan pelajar dari kedua SMP partai final.
Dalam sambutan penutupan Kadisdikbud Batanghari, Dra Jamilah, memberikan semangat kepada seluruh kedua tim yang berlaga di final itu agar tetap menjadikan pertandingan sebagai ajang silaturahmi.
Selain itu, ia mengucapkan selamat kepada SMPN 3 Batanghari sebagai juara di GSI tersebut. Jamilah menyampaikan untuk SMPN 9 tetap terus berlatih sehingga dikemudian hari menjadi yang terbaik. “ Hari ini bisa jadi belum juara, tapi percayalah kemanangan itu akan tiba waktunya, teruslah berlatih untuk menjadi yang terbaik,” ucapnya.
Kadisdikbud menjelaskan, Meski ada juara satu,dua dan tiga bukan berarti juara pertama menjadi perwakilan. Karena ajang GSI merupakan ajang seleksi siswa dalam persepakbolaan dari kementrian pusat untuk pelajar. “ Jadi Siswa yang sekolahpun semuanya berhak untuk menjadi perwakilan ketingkat selanjutnya,” jelas Jamilah.
Dikatakannya, penyeleksian telah dilakukan oleh PSSI Batanghari dalam masa pertandingan dari setiap tim yang dipertandingkan. Bisa saja nanti juara kedua siswanya dipilih beberapa orang untuk diwakilkan, begitupun sekolah yang lainya.
Lebih lanjut lagi, GSI ini akan seleksinya secara Nasional. “ Mudah-mudahan pemain terbaik yang dipilih nanti dapat membesarkan nama Batanghari di kancah Nasional maupun internasional,” pungkasnya.
Pesan saya agar siswa yang telah terseleksi dapat terus berlatih nantinya, untuk mempersiapkan diri ke tingkat provinsi Jambi.
Pada kesempatan itu juga Jamilah usai pertandingan menyapa dan memberikan semangat siswa SMPN 9 Batanghari yang pecah dengan linangan air mata atas kekalahan dari SMPN 3 Batanghari.
Perlu diketahui juga beberapa gelar pada GSI 2019 tingkat pelajar keluar sebagai Top score Ihsan Nizam dari SMP 6 dengan 13 Gol, TIM Fair play SMP 17, BEST PLAYER nomor punggung 04 SMPN 3 atas nama Hengki Prayoga.
