MUARABULIAN - Pengumuman kelulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) sederajat di kabupaten Batanghari telah keluar pada 2 Mei 2020. Dari total 1.025 Siswa-siswi SMK Negeri dan Swasta ada di Batanghari, terdapat 7 orang siswa yang tidak lulus.
Ketua MKKS SMK kabupaten Batanghari, Drs. Tholip, M.Ds diwawancarai mengatakan, dari total sebelas SMK yang ada di wilayah kabupaten Batanghari, tiga sekolah tidak mencapai kelulusan seratus persen di tahun pelajaran 2019/2020, sedangkan delapan sekolah lulus dengan rata-rata seratus persen.
“Jika di persentasekan, ada 99.32 persen siswa dinyatakan lulus dari total 1.025 peserta ujian,” ujar Tholip, Senin (4/5/2020) kemarin.
Ia memamparkan, dari 1.025 daftar peserta ujian SMK di kabupaten Batanghari, jika dikurangi persentase kelulusan 99.23 persen, ada 1.018 siswa yang lulus. Sedangkan yang tidak lulus ada 7 siswa.
Tujuh siswa SMK yang tidak lulus ini berasal dari tiga Sekolah, yakni SMK Negeri 2 ada 5 orang, SMK Negeri 3 ada 1 orang dan SMK Negeri 4 ada 1 orang.
Ia mengatakan, proses pengumuman kelulusan tidak ada menjadi persoalan, mengingat sebelumnya orang tua juga melalui surat himbauan bahwa pengumuman dilaksanakan malam hari. Sehingga kemungkinan perkumpulan ditengah wabah Covid-19 ini juga tidak ada.
“Kami bekerjasama dengan orang tua, bahkan kepolisian setempat juga ikut mengawasi pada saat malam pengumuman kelulusan siswa, agar tidak ada perkumpulan, konvoi, coret-coretan baju sekolah diluar maupun di lingkungan sekolah,” sebutnya.
Tholip yang juga merupakan Kepsek SMK Negeri 3 Batanghari ini juga berharap, agar setelah lulus ini dapat melanjutkan ke jenjang lebih tinggi lagi yakni bangku perkuliahan. Jika memang mengembangkan skill dari apa yang telah dipelajar selama di sekolah kejuruan dapat berguna dan bermamfaat untuk orang banyak.
“Jaga juga almamater sekolah, agar ilmu yang didapat dari bangku sekolah selama di SMK dapat bermamfaat dan berkah,” pungkas Tholip.
