BANGKO – Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin menggelar peringatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1448 H / 2026 M di Masjid Baitul Makmur, Kelurahan Dusun Bangko, Kamis (3/9).
Selain diwarnai tausiah keagamaan, kegiatan yang berlangsung khidmat ini diisi dengan penyaluran santunan kepada 100 anak yatim dan 100 fakir miskin.
Acara yang dihadiri langsung oleh Bupati Merangin M. Syukur, Wakil Bupati A. Khafidh, unsur Forkopimda, Sekda Zulhifni, Ketua dan Wakil Ketua TP-PKK, para kepala OPD, ASN, serta tokoh masyarakat itu menghadirkan Buya H. Ristawardi (Datuk Marajo nan Batungkek Ameh) dari Sumatera Barat.
Dalam tausiahnya, ulama berusia 75 tahun itu menekankan pentingnya meneladani sunnah Rasulullah SAW yang berkaitan erat dengan tatanan pemerintahan dan kepemimpinan.
Sementara itu, Bupati Merangin M. Syukur dalam sambutannya menegaskan bahwa peringatan Maulid Nabi tidak boleh sekadar menjadi momentum seremonial tahunan, melainkan ajang refleksi untuk menerapkan akhlak Nabi dalam pelayanan publik.
"Jika kita benar-benar mencintai Rasulullah, pastilah kita tidak pernah keluar dari pedoman yang Beliau berikan. Bagi ASN, pelayanan masyarakat adalah tanggung jawab, dan pembangunan Merangin merupakan pertanggungjawaban kita bersama," ujar M. Syukur.
Di tengah kondisi daerah yang sedang terpapar kabut asap, Bupati juga mengajak seluruh jemaah berdoa bersama agar cuaca di Provinsi Jambi, khususnya Kabupaten Merangin, segera membaik dan kembali normal.
