Bantuan berbagai program untuk mendukung kemajuan desa-desa di Merangin tersebut, disampaikan Mendes PDTT saat menghadiri Upacara Retreat Kepala Desa Kabupaten Merangin, di Dodikjur Rindam III Siliwangi Bandung, Senin (24/8).
‘’Nanti saya minta tiga orang kepala desa (Kades) dari Kabupaten Merangin akan kita kirim ke Tiongkok, untuk mengikuti pendidikan strategi memajukan desa atau daerah tertinggal,’’ujar Mendes PDTT.
Selain itu lanjut Yandri Susanto, putra-putri satu orang perwakilan dari seluruh desa di Merangin yang berjumlah 205 desa dan 10 kelurahan, akan mendapatkan kesempatan mengikuti program kursus, peluang untuk langsung bekerja di Jepang.
Tidak hanya itu, Mendes PDTT juga menjanjikan dukungan bagi Badan Usaha Milik Desa Bersama (Bumdesma) di setiap kecamatan melalui Program Sehati. Masing-masing Bumdesma akan mendapatkan bantuan sebesar Rp 2,5 miliar.
Kabupaten Merangin yang memiliki 24 kecamatan diharapkan program tersebut dapat memperkuat perekonomian desa, sekaligus membuka peluang usaha baru bagi masyarakat.
‘’Kita juga akan membantu Kabupaten Merangin untuk mengekspor berbagai komoditi unggulan seperti, kopi, gula aren, jahe dan berbagai produk pertanian dan unggulan lainnya,’’terang Yandri Susanto.
Terpisah, Bupati Merangin H M Syukur yang bertindak sebagai Inspektur Upacara, menyampaikan apresiasi dan ucapan terima kasih kepada Mendes PDTT atas perhatian serta berbagai bantuan yang diberikan kepada Kabupaten Merangin.
“Terima kasih atas semua bantuan yang diberikan Pak Mendes PDTT. Terima kasih juga telah menyempatkan diri hadir di upacara ini bersama para pejabat Kemendes PDTT,” ujar Bupati.
Bupati nantinya akan mengklasterkan berbagai unggulan setiap kecamatan dan desa di Kabupaten Merangin. Baik itu produk pertanian maupun berbagai produk lainnya, sehingga lebih terfokus untuk produk ekspornya.
Diharapkan bupati, berbagai program yang diberikan Pemerintah Pusat tersebut, dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh Pemerintah Desa dan masyarakat Merangin. Program itu akan memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia, perekonomian desa dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
