Batangharinews.com - Kali ini, tampil bukan di ruang rapat Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) atau Lembaga Ketahanan Nasional (Lemhannas), melainkan di forum yang diselenggarakan oleh All China Journalists Association (ACJA), organisasi profesi wartawan terbesar di Tiongkok.
Berdasarkan foto beredar pada Selasa, 14 Juli 2026, Mursyid tampak mengenakan setelan jas hitam lengkap dengan dasi bermotif saat duduk di meja delegasi. Kaca mata hitam tidak lupa dipakai. Namanya tertera jelas pada papan nama di hadapannya. Berbagai pin disematkan di dada.
Kehadiran Mursyid merupakan undangan ACJA, menjadi panggung berharga bagi tokoh pers senior ini untuk menyampaikan wawasan berpikir yang begitu luas di kancah internasional. Sebagai bagian dari delegasi Jaringan Media Siber Indonesia (JMSI), organisasi yang berstatus konstituen Dewan Pers dan ia juga salah satu pendirinya di tingkat pusat.
Sepak terjang ayah dari IPTU Fachri Muhammad Mursyid Kanit Tipidter Polres Bengkalis ini memang tak perlu diragukan lagi. Ia begitu matang memimpin PWI Provinsi Jambi selama dua periode berturut-turut.
Berbagai warisan telah ditinggalkan untuk Indonesia khususnya Provinsi Jambi, mulai dari berdirinya perpustakaan pertama di Sumatera di lingkungan kantor PWI Jambi, hingga keberhasilan membawa Jambi menjadi tuan rumah Hari Pers Nasional (HPN) tahun 2012.
Pada perhelatan bersejarah itu pula terjalin kerja sama antara Polri dan Dewan Pers, sampai sekarang MOU itu terus diperpanjang. Serta dibangunnya Tugu Pers yang kini menjadi ikon di Kota Jambi sebagai kenang-kenangan. Bagi PWI dan masyarakat Jambi, event terbesar dan bersejarah dengan dihadiri Presiden RI Soesilo Bambang Yudhoyono dan menginap di Jambi dua malam.
Sebagai wartawan stasiun televisi swasta pertama di Jambi, suami dari Doktor Asnelly Ridha Daulay itu pernah memimpin Ikatan Keluarga Alumni Lemhannas RI Jambi.
Pada tahun 2012, ia menempuh pendidikan di Program Pendidikan Singkat Anggota Lemhannas, jenjang pendidikan yang setara dengan pejabat tingkat Jenderal TNI/Polri maupun Direktur Jenderal. Ia seangkatan dengan mantan KSAD Jenderal TNI (Purn) Mulyono, Letjen TNI (Purn) Doni Monardo, Komjen Pol (Purn) Arif Sulistyanyo, mantan Sekjen Departemen Perhubungan Leon Muhammad, hingga Komjen (Purn) Pol Condro Kirono.
Bahkan pada tahun 2021, PWI Pusat menganugerahinya penghargaan tertinggi berupa Kartu Pers Nomor Satu dalam peringatan Hari Pers Nasional yang diserahkan Presiden Republik Indonesia, Joko Widodo. Penghargaan sebagai bentuk pengakuan atas dedikasi dan konsistensinya sebagai jurnalis yang tumbuh dan berkembang langsung dari pengalaman bertugas di lapangan.
Mursyid juga salah satu tokoh pendiri Serikat Media Siber Indonesia (SMSI) Pusat itu memang dikenal memiliki jaringan luas dan bertangga dingin.(Dan)
