KUALA TUNGKAL – Musibah kebakaran yang melanda Kelurahan Teluk Nilau mendapat respons cepat tidak hanya dari pemerintah, tetapi juga dari sektor swasta. Pada Senin (13/07) malam di Rumah Dinas Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat, Drs. H. Anwar Sadat, M.Ag., secara simbolis menyerahkan bantuan kemanusiaan dari PetroChina International Jabung Ltd kepada warga terdampak.
Penyerahan bantuan ini menjadi bukti nyata bahwa tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan (Corporate Social Responsibility) dapat berjalan efektif ketika bersinergi dengan mekanisme pemerintahan daerah yang memahami kondisi lapangan secara utuh.

Dalam sambutannya, perwakilan PetroChina, Lasno selaku Government and Relations Superintendent, menegaskan alasan kuat mengapa bantuan disalurkan melalui Pemkab Tanjab Barat. Ia menekankan kepercayaan penuh terhadap kapasitas pemerintah daerah dalam memastikan bantuan sampai ke tangan yang benar-benar membutuhkan.
“Kami percaya Pemerintah Daerah memiliki kapasitas yang mumpuni untuk memastikan bantuan ini tersalurkan secara tepat sasaran, efektif, dan transparan. Sinergi antara PetroChina dan Pemerintah Daerah adalah langkah strategis agar tidak ada korban yang terlewat,” ujar Lasno.
Pendekatan ini dinilai lebih aman dan akuntabel dibandingkan penyaluran langsung yang berisiko tumpang tindih atau tidak merata. Dengan data validasi dari lurah dan camat, bantuan dapat difokuskan pada kelompok paling rentan pasca-kebakaran.
Bupati: Apresiasi Kehadiran Perusahaan di Tengah Musibah
Bupati Anwar Sadat menyampaikan rasa prihatin mendalam kepada seluruh korban kebakaran sekaligus apresiasi setinggi-tingginya kepada PetroChina. Ia menilai kepedulian perusahaan sebagai wujud kehadiran yang sesungguhnya di tengah masyarakat, bukan sekadar kewajiban regulasi.
“Atas nama Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada PetroChina. Bantuan ini merupakan bentuk kepedulian nyata dan akan sangat meringankan beban saudara-saudara kita selama masa pemulihan,” kata Bupati.
Ia berharap bantuan yang diberikan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dasar warga terdampak, mulai dari sandang, pangan, hingga dukungan psikologis, sehingga proses pemulihan kehidupan dapat berjalan lebih cepat dan bermartabat.
Kolaborasi Pentahelix Tangani Bencana
Kehadiran para Kepala OPD, Camat Pengabuan, Lurah Teluk Nilau, serta masyarakat penerima bantuan dalam acara tersebut menunjukkan ekosistem penanganan bencana yang terintegrasi. Peran pemerintah daerah sebagai trustee (penjamin kepercayaan) memungkinkan sektor swasta berkontribusi maksimal tanpa harus membangun infrastruktur distribusi dari nol.
Model sinergi PetroChina-Pemkab Tanjab Barat ini patut menjadi referensi bagi perusahaan lain yang ingin berkontribusi dalam tanggap darurat bencana. Ketika kepentingan bisnis dan tanggung jawab sosial bertemu dengan tata kelola pemerintahan yang baik, hasilnya adalah bantuan yang tidak hanya besar nominalnya, tetapi juga tepat waktu, tepat sasaran, dan penuh empati.
