Pelantikan tersebut dilaksanakan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Bupati Merangin Nomor 311/BKPSDMD/2026 tentang Pengangkatan Pegawai Negeri Sipil Dalam Jabatan Pimpinan Tinggi Pratama.
Tiga pejabat yang dilantik yaitu Agus Salim, S.Pd., MM sebagai Asisten II Bidang Perekonomian dan Pembangunan, Juhendri, S.Pd sebagai Kepala Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik (Kesbangpol), serta Kiki Yanita Budi Utama, S.STP sebagai Kepala Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Balitbang).
Dalam sambutannya, Wabup A. Khafidh menyampaikan amanat Bupati Merangin, M. Syukur agar para pejabat yang dilantik dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan jabatan baru. Ia juga menginstruksikan para pimpinan OPD yang lain untuk memperkuat disiplin kerja di instansi masing-masing.

Acara pelantikan diakhiri dengan pemberian ucapan selamat dari Wabup dan pejabat jajaran Pemkab Merangin kepada Pejabat yang baru dilantik.
