BANGKO — Suasana penuh semangat dan kebanggaan mewarnai halaman Rumah Dinas Bupati Merangin pada Senin (10/8).
Bupati Merangin, M. Syukur, secara resmi melepas keberangkatan 42 anggota kontingen Kabupaten Merangin yang akan bertarung dan menimba ilmu pada Jambore Nasional (Jamnas) XII Gerakan Pramuka 2026.
Rombongan yang diberangkatkan terdiri dari 32 peserta Pramuka Penggalang terbaik, didampingi 4 pembina pendamping, 2 pimpinan kontingen, serta 4 staf kontingen.
Mereka akan bergabung dengan ribuan anggota Pramuka dari seluruh pelosok Nusantara hingga perwakilan luar negeri di Bumi Perkemahan dan Graha Wisata (Buperta) Cibubur, Jakarta Timur, pada 13–20 Agustus 2026.
Mengusung tema "Berkreasi, Berinovasi, Terampil, dan Mandiri untuk Mendukung Swasembada Pangan", perhelatan lima tahunan ini akan menyajikan ragam kegiatan edukatif, mulai dari keterampilan kepramukaan, pengembangan karakter, hingga program khusus Kampung Pertanian Terpadu.
Dalam amanatnya yang memotivasi, Bupati M. Syukur menegaskan pentingnya menjaga nama baik daerah di tingkat nasional. Ia mengingatkan para peserta bahwa kepribadian masyarakat Merangin dikenal lewat tutur kata dan kebaikan sikap.
"Orang-orang yang baik, lisannya tertutur dengan baik, dan suka menolong orang lain. Citra itulah yang harus selalu terpancar ketika orang mengenal Kabupaten Merangin," puji M. Syukur di hadapan para peserta.
Bupati M. Syukur berpesan agar para penggalang memanfaatkan momen berharga ini untuk memperluas jaringan persahabatan, menambah wawasan, serta mengasah keterampilan yang dapat bermanfaat bagi masa depan.
"Kalian adalah duta daerah. Jagalah nama baik Kabupaten Merangin di mana pun berada. Tunjukkan sikap santun, disiplin, jujur, saling menghormati, serta mampu bekerja sama dengan peserta dari seluruh Indonesia," tegasnya.
Tak lupa, M. Syukur menitipkan pesan moral dan spritual agar para peserta tetap menjaga ibadah dan kekompakan tim selama di perkemahan.
Bagi peserta Muslim, ia mengimbau untuk tidak meninggalkan salat berjemaah, sementara bagi non-Muslim dapat menyesuaikan dengan ajaran agamanya masing-masing.
"Dalam keadaan apa pun dan di mana pun berada, orang Merangin harus ramah, santun, dan saling menghargai. Jaga kekompakan kalian dan kibarkan panji kebanggaan Merangin di Cibubur," pungkasnya.
