TANJAB BARAT – Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat, Drs. H. Anwar Sadat, M.Ag., meninjau langsung sekaligus menyalurkan bantuan kepada warga yang terdampak bencana angin puting beliung di Desa Pematang Buluh, Kecamatan Betara, Selasa (28/7).
Kedatangan Bupati bersama rombongan disambut antusias oleh masyarakat dan perangkat desa setempat. Dalam kunjungan tersebut, Bupati memastikan kondisi warga sekaligus menyerahkan bantuan sebagai bentuk kepedulian Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat terhadap masyarakat yang terdampak musibah.
Turut mendampingi Bupati dalam kegiatan tersebut Camat Betara, Kepala Dinas Ketahanan Pangan, Kepala Dinas Sosial, Kepala Pelaksana BPBD, Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR), Kepala Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah (BKAD), Kepala Desa Pematang Buluh, Kabag Protokol dan Komunikasi Pimpinan Setda Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, serta masyarakat penerima bantuan.
Dalam sambutannya, Bupati Anwar Sadat menyampaikan rasa prihatin dan duka yang mendalam atas musibah angin puting beliung yang melanda Desa Pematang Buluh beberapa waktu lalu.
“Atas nama Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, saya menyampaikan rasa prihatin dan duka yang mendalam atas musibah angin puting beliung yang menimpa saudara-saudara kita di Desa Pematang Buluh. Saya memahami musibah ini telah menimbulkan berbagai kerugian, baik kerusakan rumah, harta benda, maupun rasa takut dan ketidaknyamanan yang dirasakan masyarakat,” ujar Bupati.
Bupati mengatakan, kehadiran pemerintah di tengah masyarakat merupakan wujud kepedulian dan tanggung jawab dalam memberikan dukungan kepada warga yang sedang mengalami musibah.
“Hari ini kami menyerahkan bantuan secara simbolis berupa paket sembako yang terdiri dari beras dan mi instan, bantuan pakaian sekolah, serta bantuan uang tunai dari Baznas Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat kepada warga terdampak. Nilai bantuan ini mungkin tidak seberapa, namun kami berharap dapat meringankan beban masyarakat serta menjadi bukti bahwa pemerintah selalu hadir dan tidak pernah meninggalkan warganya,” lanjut Bupati.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Bupati juga mengimbau masyarakat agar tetap meningkatkan kewaspadaan mengingat cuaca ekstrem masih berpotensi terjadi di sejumlah wilayah.
“Mari kita tetap waspada terhadap potensi cuaca ekstrem. Perkuat semangat gotong royong dan saling membantu antarsesama. Jangan biarkan musibah ini memecah persatuan kita. Saya yakin, dengan kebersamaan dan kekompakan seluruh masyarakat, Desa Pematang Buluh akan segera pulih dan bangkit kembali,” pesannya.
Mengakhiri sambutannya, Bupati mengajak seluruh masyarakat untuk senantiasa berdoa agar diberikan ketabahan dan kekuatan dalam menghadapi cobaan.
“Semoga Allah SWT memberikan kesabaran dan ketabahan kepada kita semua, serta mengganti musibah ini dengan keberkahan dan rezeki yang lebih baik. Aamiin,” tutup Bupati.
