TANJAB BARAT – Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, Hj. Fadhilah Sadat, S.H., secara resmi membuka Pelatihan Pembuatan Nugget Berbahan Dasar Ikan dan Udang yang diselenggarakan oleh Pokja III TP PKK Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat di Taman Edukasi, Jalan Bahagia, Kecamatan Tungkal Ilir, Rabu (22/07).
Pelatihan yang mengusung tema "Ibu Hebat, Pangan Aman, Keluarga Sehat" tersebut dihadiri Staf Ahli II TP PKK Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, Ketua Pokja III TP PKK Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, Koordinator Pokja III TP PKK Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, serta diikuti perwakilan TP PKK dari 13 kecamatan dan para Penyuluh Lapangan Keluarga Berencana (PLKB). Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah hasil perikanan menjadi produk pangan yang sehat, bergizi, sekaligus memiliki nilai tambah dan nilai ekonomis.
Dalam sambutannya, Hj. Fadhilah Sadat mengatakan bahwa pelatihan ini merupakan salah satu upaya TP PKK melalui Pokja III untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan sekaligus memperkuat perekonomian keluarga berbasis potensi lokal.
"Pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat berbasis ekonomi kerakyatan. Ini merupakan inovasi yang sangat baik karena sejalan dengan peran Pokja III dalam mendorong ketahanan pangan dan peningkatan ekonomi keluarga, khususnya di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat," ujarnya.
Ia menjelaskan bahwa Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat memiliki potensi sumber daya perikanan yang melimpah, terutama ikan dan udang, sehingga perlu dimanfaatkan secara optimal menjadi berbagai produk olahan yang bernilai tambah. Menurutnya, penggunaan bahan baku yang segar menjadi kunci untuk menghasilkan nugget yang sehat, bergizi, dan berkualitas.
Selain itu, Ketua TP PKK mengajak para ibu untuk lebih kreatif dalam menyajikan makanan bergizi bagi anak-anak. Salah satunya dengan mengolah ikan menjadi nugget dalam berbagai bentuk yang menarik sehingga mampu meningkatkan minat anak mengonsumsi ikan.
"Sering kali anak-anak kurang menyukai ikan jika disajikan secara biasa. Namun, jika diolah menjadi nugget dengan bentuk yang menarik, mereka akan lebih tertarik untuk mengonsumsinya. Ini menjadi salah satu cara kita memenuhi kebutuhan gizi anak dalam keluarga," jelasnya.
Lebih lanjut, Hj. Fadhilah berharap ilmu yang diperoleh peserta tidak berhenti pada pelatihan semata, tetapi dapat diterapkan dan dikembangkan menjadi usaha rumahan yang mampu menambah penghasilan keluarga.
"Kami ingin ibu-ibu memiliki keterampilan yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi usaha. Dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki, diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga sekaligus mendorong lahirnya industri rumahan berbasis potensi lokal," ungkapnya.
Ia juga menegaskan bahwa perempuan saat ini dituntut untuk terus meningkatkan kapasitas diri dan memiliki kemandirian melalui berbagai pelatihan keterampilan yang diselenggarakan TP PKK.
Di akhir sambutannya, Hj. Fadhilah Sadat menyampaikan apresiasi kepada seluruh panitia dan pihak yang telah mendukung terselenggaranya kegiatan tersebut. Ia berharap pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat bagi seluruh peserta, melahirkan produk olahan pangan lokal yang berkualitas, serta membuka peluang usaha baru yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan memperkuat ekonomi keluarga.
