MUARABULIAN - Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Batang Hari, Mula P Rambe, SH.MH secara resmi membuka kegiatan rapat koordinasi (Rakor) Forkopimda terkait penanganan dan penanggulangan geng motor di wilayah Batang Hari. Selasa (21/7/2026) di ruang pola Kantor Bupati Batang Hari.
Sekda Batang Hari, Mula P Rambe mengatakan, penanganan geng motor harus menjadi tanggung jawab bersama seluruh elemen masyarakat.
Sekda menegaskan tidak akan pernah membiarkan ruang publik di Kabupaten Batang Hari dikuasai oleh rasa takut. Bahkan tidak boleh ada toleransi sekecil apa pun terhadap tindakan destruktif ini.
"Aksi geng motor telah berkembang, dari sekadar kenakalan remaja menjadi tindak kriminal terorganisir yang mengancam keselamatan jiwa dan harta benda masyarakat," kata Sekda.
Menurut Sekda, penanganan geng motor tidak dapat dilakukan hanya oleh aparat penegak hukum, tetapi juga dibutuhkan sinergi antara pemerintah daerah, TNI, Polri, sekolah, keluarga, serta seluruh lapisan masyarakat.
Sekda juga memaparkan tiga strategi utama untuk menekan aksi geng motor. Pertama, pendekatan persuasif melalui penyediaan wadah kreativitas bagi generasi muda, seperti turnamen olahraga, kegiatan seni dan aktivitas kepemudaan agar energi mereka tersalurkan ke arah positif.
Kedua, pendekatan preventif dengan memperkuat edukasi dan pencegahan sejak dini. Ia menginstruksikan Dinas Pendidikan untuk menggencarkan razia, sosialisasi bahaya geng motor di sekolah, serta memperkuat pendidikan karakter.
Ketiga, penindakan hukum yang tegas dan terukur terhadap pelaku tindak pidana. Sekda menyatakan dukungan penuh kepada Polres Batang Hari dan Kodim dalam menindak pelaku yang membawa senjata tajam maupun melakukan aksi kekerasan di jalan.
"Peran orang tua dalam mengawasi pergaulan anak dan memastikan mereka berada di rumah pada malam hari sangat penting," katanya.
Sekda mengajak seluruh peserta rapat menjadikan forum tersebut sebagai momentum menyusun langkah nyata, di antaranya membentuk posko pengaduan, mengaktifkan kembali sistem keamanan lingkungan (siskamling) di tingkat RT/RW, serta melaksanakan patroli gabungan secara rutin di titik-titik yang dinilai rawan.
Ia berharap deklarasi bersama yang dilakukan seluruh unsur pada rapat koordinasi tersebut menjadi langkah strategis untuk menciptakan keamanan, ketertiban, dan rasa aman bagi masyarakat di Kabupaten Batang Hari.
