BANGKO – Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK Kabupaten Merangin, Lavita Syukur, secara resmi menutup gelaran Lomba Bertutur Tingk at SD/MI Se-Kabupaten Merangin Tahun 2026 yang berlangsung di Gedung Perpustakaan Daerah Merangin, Rabu (22/7).
Dalam sambutannya, Lavita Syukur memberikan apresiasi kepada Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan (Disarsipus) yang telah menggelar lomba bertutur.
Ia juga mengajak seluruh pelajar Merangin untuk berkunjung ke Perpustakaan dan menegaskan komitmen TP PKK untuk berkolaborasi dengan Dinas Pendidikan guna menyusun jadwal agenda kunjungan rutin bagi pelajar tingkat PAUD, SD, hingga SMP ke Perpustakaan Daerah.
"Ternyata di sini ada dunia kecil yang luar biasa. Banyak ilmu dan informasi yang bisa didapat. Kami akan menindaklanjuti bersama Dinas Pendidikan agar sekolah-sekolah dari tingkat PAUD hingga SMP memiliki agenda atau jadwal khusus berkunjung ke Perpustakaan Daerah," ujar Lavita Syukur.
Lavita Syukur menyoroti pentingnya peran buku fisik di tengah gempuran era digital dan gadget. Menurutnya, membaca buku memberikan kesan dan daya ingat yang lebih mendalam bagi tumbuh kembang anak.
Kepala Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan (Arsipus) Kabupaten Merangin, Mohd. Isnaini, menjelaskan bahwa ajang tahunan yang didanai melalui DAK Non-Fisik ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan minat baca serta melatih keberanian generasi muda dalam mengekspresikan gagasan.
Isnaini mengungkapkan, pihaknya terus berupaya meningkatkan fasilitas dan koleksi buku perpustakaan untuk mendukung kesiapan generasi muda Merangin.
"Kegiatan ini merupakan sarana melatih generasi penerus agar suka membaca dan mampu menceritakan kembali intisari bacaannya. Harapan kita, para guru dan siswa sering berkunjung ke sini agar generasi muda kita siap menyongsong Indonesia Emas 2045," ungkap Isnaini.
