TANJAB BARAT – Usai melaksanakan Safari Jumat di Masjid Al Muhajirin, Desa Kuala Dasal, Kecamatan Tungkal Ulu, Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat Drs. H. Anwar Sadat, M.Ag. bersama Wakil Bupati Dr. H. Katamso SA, S.E., M.E. melanjutkan kunjungan kerja dengan meninjau kegiatan UMKM Ecoprint yang digagas oleh kelompok ibu-ibu Desa Kuala Dasal, Jumat (17/07).
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Bupati dan Wakil Bupati melihat langsung proses pembuatan kain ecoprint yang memanfaatkan daun resam sebagai motif alami. Tanaman resam yang tumbuh melimpah di sekitar desa diolah menjadi motif khas pada kain, sehingga menghasilkan produk bernilai seni sekaligus memiliki nilai ekonomi.
Bupati mengapresiasi kreativitas para pelaku UMKM yang mampu mengangkat potensi lokal menjadi produk unggulan desa. Menurutnya, inovasi seperti ini perlu terus didorong karena tidak hanya membuka peluang usaha, tetapi juga memperkuat identitas daerah melalui pemanfaatan sumber daya alam yang ada.
Sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap pengembangan UMKM lokal, Bupati turut membeli produk ecoprint hasil karya masyarakat Desa Kuala Dasal.
Dalam sesi wawancara, Bupati menyampaikan komitmen Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat untuk memfasilitasi pengembangan usaha tersebut melalui koordinasi dengan perangkat daerah dan instansi terkait, termasuk pendampingan dalam pengurusan hak kekayaan intelektual (HKI), legalitas usaha, promosi, hingga perluasan akses pemasaran.
«"Produk ecoprint ini memiliki ciri khas yang kuat karena memanfaatkan potensi lokal. Pemerintah daerah akan berupaya memfasilitasi pengembangannya, mulai dari pengurusan HKI, peningkatan kualitas produk, hingga memperluas jaringan pemasaran agar mampu bersaing di pasar yang lebih luas," ujar Bupati.»
Turut mendampingi Bupati dan Wakil Bupati dalam kegiatan tersebut Asisten I Setda Tanjung Jabung Barat H. Johan Hendry Bororing, S.STP., Kepala Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika, Kepala Dinas Sosial, Kepala Dinas Tanaman Pangan, Hortikultura dan Peternakan, Kepala Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil, Kepala Desa Kuala Dasal, serta sejumlah pejabat dan tamu undangan lainnya.
