Event tahunan bergengsi di Kabupaten Merangin tersebut, dipusatkan di Desa Bukit Batu Kecamatan Sungai Manau, akan berlangsung selama lima hari sampai tanggal, 22 Juli 2026.
‘’Mari bersama kita sukseskan pelaksanaan MTQH ke-52 tingkat Kabupaten Merangin, sebagai syiar Islam yang efektif untuk memuliakan nilai-nilai suci Al-Quran dan Hadis,’’ujar Bupati Merangin H M Syukur, Kamis (16/7).
Pelaksaan MTQH tersebut lanjut bupati, bukan sekadar ajang perlombaan, melainkan dakwah nyata untuk memperkuat ukhuwah, menumbuhkan kecintaan membaca Al-Qur'an dan membangun generasi berakhlak mulia.
Malam pembukaan MTQH itu akan menghadirkan Qori internasional Ustadz H Mustofa Tuwuh dan penceramah H Daud Hendi Ismail dari Jakarta. Pembukaan MTQH tersebut, akan diwarnai tari massal dan aneka pertunjukan bernuansa Islami.
Serangkaian MTQH ke-52 tingkat Kabupaten Merangin, akan diawali dengan Pawai Taaruf pada Sabtu pagi (18/7). Pawai kafilah dan kendaraan hias tersebut akan diikuti seluruh peserta MTQH dari 24 kecamatan di Kabupaten Merangin.
MTQH ke-52 yang akan berlangsung di tanah kelahiran Bupati Merangin H M Syukur tersebut, mengambil tema ‘Mewujudkan generasi yang Qurani, berakhlak mulia dan berdaya saing menuju Merangin Baru 2030’.
