JAMBI — Ancaman kebakaran hutan dan lahan (Karhutla) di Provinsi Jambi masih membutuhkan kewaspadaan tinggi di tengah puncak musim kemarau. Kondisi ini mendorong berbagai pihak memperkuat kesiapsiagaan, termasuk Pertamina EP Jambi.
Dalam sepekan terakhir, tim Pertamina EP Jambi turut bergerak membantu pemadaman kebakaran lahan di sejumlah lokasi yang berada di sekitar wilayah operasional perusahaan.
Field Manager Pertamina EP Jambi, Kurniawan Triyo Widodo mengatakan, respons cepat dilakukan sebagai bagian dari komitmen perusahaan untuk menjaga keselamatan masyarakat, lingkungan, serta memastikan fasilitas operasi tetap aman dari ancaman kebakaran.
“Kami terus meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan menghadapi kondisi kemarau dan potensi kebakaran lahan. Ketika ada laporan maupun temuan titik api di sekitar wilayah operasi, tim kami langsung melakukan pengecekan dan berkoordinasi untuk membantu proses pemadaman agar api tidak meluas dan membahayakan masyarakat maupun fasilitas,” ujar Kurniawan.
Dalam sepekan terakhir, tim Pertamina EP Jambi membantu melakukan pemadaman di sejumlah lokasi, yakni Purnama Kota Jambi, Kamis (20/8), Jalan Lintas Sumatera KM 34 dan di kawasan SMA 5 Bajubang, Kabupaten Batanghari, Sabtu (22/8). Selanjutnya di KM 29 Tempino serta Sebapo Kecamatan Mestong, pada Senin (24/8).
Kebakaran yang ditangani umumnya terjadi pada lahan berupa semak dan kebun. Sejumlah titik berada di sekitar fasilitas operasional Pertamina, sehingga membutuhkan respon cepat untuk mencegah api mendekati area fasilitas dan menimbulkan risiko yang lebih besar.
“Patroli menjadi salah satu kunci deteksi dini. Selain melalui pemantauan lapangan, kami juga menerima laporan dari masyarakat. Setiap informasi yang masuk kami tindak lanjuti dengan cepat karena dalam kondisi kemarau seperti sekarang, api dapat berkembang dengan cepat apabila tidak segera ditangani,” kata Kurniawan.
Untuk memperkuat respons terhadap potensi Karhutla, fungsi Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Pertamina EP Jambi menyiagakan tiga unit fire truck di tiga titik strategis, yakni Kenali Asam, Bajubang, dan Petaling. Masing-masing titik ditempatkan satu unit fire truck yang dalam kondisi siap digunakan.
Di tengah kondisi kemarau yang meningkatkan risiko kebakaran, armada tersebut dipastikan selalu dalam kondisi siaga, termasuk ketersediaan air dan bahan bakar. “Fire truck kami siagakan dengan tangki air terisi dan bahan bakar dalam kondisi penuh. Tujuannya agar ketika ada laporan kebakaran, armada dapat segera bergerak tanpa menunggu persiapan ulang. Kecepatan respons sangat penting untuk mencegah api meluas,” ujar Kurniawan.
Kurniawan menegaskan bahwa penanganan Karhutla tidak dapat dilakukan oleh satu pihak saja. Kolaborasi antara perusahaan, pemerintah, aparat, dan masyarakat menjadi faktor penting untuk mempercepat deteksi serta mencegah kebakaran berkembang menjadi bencana yang lebih luas.
“Karhutla merupakan tantangan bersama. Kami mengajak masyarakat untuk tidak melakukan pembakaran lahan dan segera melaporkan apabila menemukan titik api. Semakin cepat informasi diterima, semakin cepat pula langkah penanganan dapat dilakukan,” tutur Kurniawan.
Dengan kesiapsiagaan personel, patroli, serta penempatan armada pemadam di sejumlah titik, Pertamina EP Jambi memastikan dukungan terhadap upaya penanganan kebakaran lahan terus dilakukan, khususnya di sekitar wilayah operasional perusahaan.
