KUALA TUNGKAL – Jalanan Kota Kuala Tungkal berubah menjadi kanvas raksasa keberagaman pada Selasa (18/08). Ribuan pasang mata tertuju pada deretan peserta Pawai Budaya yang membawa semarak warna-warni Nusantara dalam rangka memperingati HUT ke-81 Kemerdekaan RI sekaligus Hari Jadi ke-61 Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat. Dari Rumah Dinas Bupati hingga titik-titik strategis sepanjang rute, Bupati Drs. H. Anwar Sadat, M.Ag., bersama Ketua TP PKK Hj. Fadhilah Sadat, S.H., dan Wakil Bupati Dr. H. Katamso, S.A., S.E., M.E., menyaksikan langsung parade megah yang menyatukan hati warga melalui keindahan tradisi.
Suasana kian meriah dengan antusiasme masyarakat yang memadati trotoar dan pinggir jalan. Mereka tidak hanya datang sebagai penonton, tetapi sebagai bagian dari pesta rakyat yang merayakan identitas bangsa. Teriakan semangat, tepuk tangan, dan sorak-sorai mengiringi setiap langkah peserta yang mengenakan pakaian adat khas berbagai suku, mulai dari Melayu, Jawa, Batak, Minang, hingga etnis Tionghoa dan Banjar, mencerminkan wajah Indonesia yang sesungguhnya: Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
Lebih dari Sekadar Parade: Dampak Ekonomi & Pelestarian Budaya
Dalam sambutannya, Bupati Anwar Sadat menekankan bahwa Pawai Budaya bukan sekadar atraksi visual, melainkan instrumen strategis pelestarian kearifan lokal dan penggerak ekonomi mikro.
“Pawai budaya ini merupakan salah satu upaya kita untuk melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya dan kearifan lokal. Di sisi lain, kegiatan ini juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap sektor ekonomi dan UMKM, termasuk perhotelan, toko, rumah makan, serta sektor usaha lainnya,” ujar Bupati.
Ia menilai tingginya partisipasi pelajar, instansi pemerintah, dan masyarakat umum menunjukkan kuatnya semangat gotong royong. Apresiasi setinggi-tingginya disampaikan kepada seluruh peserta yang telah bekerja keras menampilkan kreativitas terbaik mereka, menjadikan Tanjab Barat sebagai miniatur Indonesia yang harmonis.

Kehadiran lengkap unsur Forkopimda beserta istri, Anggota DPRD, Sekretaris Daerah, Ketua GOW, Ketua DWP, serta para Pejabat Tinggi Pratama menegaskan bahwa acara ini adalah milik bersama. Tidak ada sekat antara pejabat dan rakyat; semua larut dalam kemeriahan yang sama.
Bagi banyak warga, pawai ini adalah ruang untuk memperkuat kecintaan terhadap budaya sendiri sambil menghormati budaya orang lain. Setiap kostum yang dikenakan, setiap tarian yang dibawakan, dan setiap atraksi yang ditampilkan adalah bukti nyata bahwa persatuan tidak dibangun di atas keseragaman, melainkan di atas penghargaan terhadap perbedaan.
Sebagai penutup rangkaian peringatan ganda tahun ini, Pawai Budaya berhasil mengirimkan pesan kuat: Tanjung Jabung Barat tidak hanya maju secara infrastruktur, tetapi juga kaya secara budaya dan solid secara sosial. Dengan semangat "BERKAH Madani", daerah ini terus membuktikan bahwa keberagaman adalah modal terbesar untuk menuju masa depan yang lebih sejahtera dan bermartabat.
