TANJAB BARAT – Rangkaian peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-81 Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat berlangsung khidmat. Setelah pelaksanaan Upacara Detik-detik Proklamasi pada pagi hari dan Upacara Pelarungan Bunga atau Tabur Bunga di Sungai Pengabuan, rangkaian peringatan dilanjutkan dengan Upacara Penurunan Copy Bendera Merah Putih di Alun-Alun Kuala Tungkal, Senin Sore (17/08).
Bertindak sebagai Inspektur Upacara, Wakil Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat Dr. H. Katamso, SA, S.E., M.E. memimpin prosesi penurunan Copy Bendera Merah Putih yang dimulai pada pukul 15.00 WIB.
Upacara berlangsung dengan tertib dan penuh khidmat. Sebanyak 34 anggota Paskibraka, terdiri atas 17 putra dan 17 putri, bertugas dalam prosesi tersebut. Mereka merupakan putra-putri terbaik dari sejumlah sekolah menengah atas, madrasah, dan sekolah swasta di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat.
Bertindak sebagai Perwira Upacara AKP Vhycky M. Tanjung, S.H., Komandan Upacara IPTU Sahat Martua Siallagan, serta Komandan Kompi Paskibraka IPDA Muhammad Rid Ikbar, S.Tr.K.
Rangkaian upacara diawali dengan penampilan aubade yang melibatkan paduan suara gabungan dari sejumlah satuan pendidikan, yakni SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat, SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Jabung Barat, SMA Negeri 8 Tanjung Jabung Barat, SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat, MAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat, MAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Barat, SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat, SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Jabung Barat, dan SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung Jabung Barat.
Penampilan aubade turut diperkuat Paduan Suara Persembahan dari Dinas Pariwisata, Kebudayaan, Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat.
Memasuki prosesi inti, pasukan Paskibraka melaksanakan tugas penurunan Copy Bendera Merah Putih dengan penuh disiplin. Setelah berhasil diturunkan, bendera diserahkan kepada Inspektur Upacara, Wakil Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat, untuk selanjutnya diserahkan kembali kepada pembawa bendera guna dibawa dan disimpan sesuai ketentuan.
Seluruh rangkaian berlangsung lancar hingga upacara selesai. Setelah prosesi, kegiatan ditutup dengan foto bersama Wakil Bupati, unsur Forkopimda, jajaran pejabat daerah, Paskibraka, peserta aubade, dan undangan sebagai simbol kebersamaan dalam memperingati HUT ke-81 Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia.
Rangkaian peringatan tersebut selanjutnya dijadwalkan berlanjut pada malam hari melalui Resepsi Kenegaraan yang dilaksanakan di Rumah Dinas Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat.
Dari Alun-Alun Kuala Tungkal, semangat Merah Putih terus berkibar. Kemerdekaan bukan hanya untuk dikenang, tetapi dijaga melalui persatuan dan diisi dengan karya nyata demi mewujudkan Tanjung Jabung Barat yang semakin maju dan sejahtera.
