MUARABULIAN - Bupati Batang Hari, Muhammad Fadhil Arief, SE mengatakan, bahwa Rapat Koordinasi Teknis Pembangunan Perkebunan (Rakortekbangbun) menjadi momentum untuk menyamakan persepsi, menyinkronkan program dan kebijakan, serta memperkuat kolaborasi antara pemerintah, perusahaan perkebunan dan pekebun dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
Hal ini disampaikan Bupati Fadhil Arief pada kegiatan Rakortekbangbun di ruang pola kantor Bupati Batang Hari, Senin (10/8/2026).
Bupati Fadhil Arief menekankan sejumlah tantangan yang perlu segera ditangani, mulai dari produktivitas yang belum optimal, hilirisasi yang masih terbatas, regenerasi pekebun, hingga persoalan legalitas dan sertifikasi.
Dikatakannya, bahwa Pemerintah Kabupaten Batang Hari akan mendorong peningkatan produktivitas melalui peremajaan dan intensifikasi, penguatan kelembagaan pekebun, perluasan akses pasar dan sertifikasi, serta pengembangan perkebunan yang legal, berkelanjutan dan inklusif melalui program Petani Milenial.
Kepada perusahaan perkebunan, Bupati mengajak untuk memperkuat kemitraan dengan pekebun rakyat. “Plasma bukan beban, tetapi investasi jangka panjang," katanya
Bupati jmengajak para pekebun untuk terus meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mengelola perkebunan secara profesional agar mampu meningkatkan produktivitas serta memberikan nilai tambah bagi masyarakat dan daerah.
Bupati juga menyampaikan bahwa sektor perkebunan merupakan salah satu sumber utama penghasilan masyarakat Batang Hari, dengan luas lahan perkebunan mencapai 254.971,36 hektare hingga tahun 2025.
Kegiatan turut dihadiri Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Batang Hari Mula P.
