Tebing Tinggi – Usai menghadiri Forum Silaturahmi TP PKK Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat di Kantor Desa Purwodadi, Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi, Kamis (23/7), Ketua TP PKK Tanjab Barat, Hj. Fadhilah Sadat, S.H., melanjutkan agenda kerja dengan meninjau Taman Obat Keluarga (TOGA).
TOGA yang berlokasi di area desa tersebut dikelola secara produktif oleh Kelompok Kerja (Pokja) III TP PKK Desa Purwodadi sebagai upaya pemanfaatan pekarangan dan penyediaan tanaman obat berbasis lingkungan.
Dalam peninjauan tersebut, Hj. Fadhilah Sadat didampingi Ketua TP PKK Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi beserta jajaran pengurus kabupaten dan kecamatan, melihat langsung keanekaragaman jenis tanaman herbal yang dibudidayakan para kader.
Ia mengapresiasi keaktifan kader Pokja III TP PKK Desa Purwodadi dalam merawat dan mengoptimalkan TOGA sebagai sarana edukasi serta sumber kesehatan mandiri bagi warga sekitar.
"Pemanfaatan pekarangan melalui TOGA merupakan bentuk nyata peran PKK dalam mewujudkan keluarga yang sehat, mandiri, dan sejahtera. Keberadaan kebun herbal ini tidak hanya menyediakan obat tradisional yang aman bagi keluarga, tetapi juga memberi nilai estetika dan ketahanan gizi," ujar Hj. Fadhilah.
Ia berharap keberlanjutan program TOGA di Desa Purwodadi dapat menular dan menjadi contoh bagi desa-desa lainnya di wilayah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat.
"Saya minta gerakan pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan ini terus ditularkan. Jika setiap rumah tangga memiliki tanaman obat dan gizi mandiri, maka ketahanan keluarga di tingkat desa akan semakin kokoh," pungkasnya.
