BANGKO — Bupati Merangin, M. Syukur, didampingi Sekretaris Daerah Zulhifni, menggelar acara coffee morning bersama Kepala Badan Narkotika Nasional Provinsi (BNNP) Jambi, Brigjen Pol. Asep Saepudin, S.I.K., beserta unsur Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) di Rumah Dinas Bupati Merangin, Senin (20/7) pagi.
Pertemuan hangat tersebut diselenggarakan sebagai ajang silaturahmi sekaligus konsolidasi awal sebelum dibukanya kegiatan Sosialisasi Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan dan Peredaran Gelap Narkotika dan Prekursur Narkotika (P4GN) Kabupaten Merangin Tahun Anggaran 2026.
Acara sosialisasi P4GN itu sendiri dijadwalkan berlangsung pada siang harinya, sekitar pukul 13.30 WIB, bertempat di Aula Rumah Dinas Bupati Merangin.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Bupati M. Syukur menegaskan komitmen penuh Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin untuk mendukung seluruh program dan langkah tegas BNN dalam mengikis habis penyalahgunaan narkotika hingga ke pelosok daerah.
"Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin berkomitmen penuh dan siap berdiri di garda terdepan bersama BNNP Jambi serta unsur Forkopimda dalam memerangi peredaran dan penyalahgunaan narkoba. Penyalahgunaan narkotika adalah ancaman nyata bagi masa depan generasi muda dan pembangunan daerah kita," ujar Bupati M. Syukur.
"Melalui sinergi dan sosialisasi P4GN ini, kita tidak hanya memperkuat benteng pencegahan, tetapi juga memastikan seluruh elemen masyarakat dan aparat desa bergerak aktif memutus mata rantai peredaran narkoba di Kabupaten Merangin. Tidak ada tempat untuk narkoba di bumi Tali Undang Tambang Teliti," tambahnya.
Senada dengan hal tersebut, Kepala BNNP Jambi Brigjen Pol. Asep Saepudin menyambut baik apresiasi dan dukungan penuh dari Pemkab Merangin. Pihaknya berharap sinergitas lintas sektor ini dapat terus diperkuat guna menciptakan lingkungan masyarakat Merangin yang bersih dari narkoba (Bersinar).
