BANGKO – Wakil Bupati Merangin, A. Khafidh, menghadiri prosesi pelantikan Pengganti Antar Waktu (PAW) Anggota DPRD Kabupaten Merangin sisa masa jabatan 2024–2029 di Gedung DPRD Merangin, Sabtu (4/7). Dalam prosesi tersebut, Wike Efrilla T. dari Partai NasDem resmi dilantik menggantikan posisi almarhum M. Yani, legislator senior yang tutup usia pada 15 Januari 2026 lalu. Pelantikan ini didasarkan pada Surat Keputusan Gubernur Jambi Nomor: 505/KEP.GUB/SETDA.PEM-OTDA/2026 tertanggal 26 Juni 2026 tentang Peresmian Pengangkatan Pengganti Antarwaktu Anggota DPRD Kabupaten Merangin. Suasana khidmat menyelimuti ruangan saat naskah pelantikan dibacakan. Prosesi pengucapan sumpah dan janji jabatan dipimpin langsung oleh Ketua DPRD Merangin, Muhammad Rifaldi. "Saya percaya bahwa Saudari akan melaksanakan tugas dengan sebaik-baiknya sesuai dengan tanggung jawab yang dibebankan," ujar Rifaldi tegas di hadapan para hadirin. Usai melangsungkan prosesi, Wakil Bupati Merangin, A. Khafidh memberikan ucapan selamat secara personal kepada Wike Efrilla. "Atas nama pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat Kabupaten Merangin, saya mengucapkan selamat atas dilantiknya Saudari Wike Efrilla T. Semoga amanah besar ini dapat dijalankan dengan penuh tanggung jawab, dedikasi, dan integritas yang tinggi," singkatnya. Acara ini juga dihadiri oleh Ketua DPW Partai NasDem Provinsi Jambi yang juga Anggota DPR RI, Syarif Fasha. Selain itu, tampak pula Anggota DPRD Provinsi Jambi dari Fraksi NasDem, Idzhar Majid, jajaran unsur Forkopimda, Sekda Zulhifni, para Kepala OPD dan tamu undangan lainnya.
