TANJAB BARAT - Tim Opsnal Tipidum Satreskrim Polres Tanjung Jabung Barat yang dipimpin Kasat Reskrim AKP Ayub Peter Bernardus, S.Tr.K., S.I.K., M.H., berhasil mengamankan seorang pelaku tindak pidana penganiayaan berat berupa penikaman yang terjadi di wilayah hukum Polres Tanjung Jabung Barat, Jumat (29/5/2026).
Peristiwa penikaman tersebut diketahui terjadi sekitar pukul 15.08 WIB di kawasan Pasar Sialang RT 012, Desa Teluk Sialang, Kecamatan Tungkal Ilir, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, Provinsi Jambi.
Korban diketahui berinisial RI (51), seorang petani yang berdomisili di Desa Teluk Sialang, Kecamatan Tungkal Ilir. Sementara pelaku yang berhasil diamankan berinisial DI (25), warga Pasar Teluk Sialang, Desa Teluk Sialang, Kecamatan Tungkal Ilir.
Kasat Reskrim Polres Tanjab Barat AKP Ayub Peter Bernardus, S.Tr.K., S.I.K., M.H., melalui Kasi Humas Polres Tanjab Barat Ipda Ucen, menjelaskan bahwa laporan kejadian diterima setelah pihak keluarga korban mendatangi Polres Tanjab Barat.
Berdasarkan keterangan pelapor, seorang perempuan berusia 27 tahun yang merupakan keluarga korban, pada Jumat sekitar pukul 15.00 WIB dirinya sedang berada di rumah di Jalan Sungai Limau, Desa Teluk Sialang.
Saat itu, suaminya tiba-tiba pulang dan mengatakan bahwa ayahnya telah ditikam.
Mendengar informasi tersebut, pelapor segera menuju RSUD Daud Arif Kuala Tungkal untuk memastikan kondisi korban.
Setibanya di ruang IGD, korban ditemukan dalam kondisi sedang menjalani perawatan medis dengan luka tusuk pada bagian dada yang telah mendapatkan penanganan dari pihak rumah sakit.
Setelah memastikan kondisi korban, pelapor kemudian melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke Polres Tanjung Jabung Barat.
Menindaklanjuti laporan tersebut, Tim Opsnal Tipidum Satreskrim Polres Tanjab Barat segera melakukan serangkaian penyelidikan di lapangan.
Berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh terkait keberadaan pelaku, petugas bergerak cepat melakukan pencarian.
Hasilnya, sekitar pukul 17.30 WIB, pelaku berhasil diamankan di wilayah Pasar Sialang, Desa Teluk Sialang, Kecamatan Tungkal Ilir, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat.
Dalam pemeriksaan awal, pelaku mengakui telah melakukan penganiayaan terhadap korban dengan cara menusukkan sebilah pisau ke arah dada korban. Akibat perbuatannya tersebut, korban mengalami luka dan harus mendapatkan perawatan medis.
Saat ini pelaku telah diamankan di Polres Tanjung Jabung Barat guna menjalani proses penyidikan lebih lanjut sesuai ketentuan hukum yang berlaku.

Petugas turut mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti, antara lain:
1 (satu) bilah pisau yang digunakan dalam aksi penikaman;
1 (satu) helai baju kaos singlet berwarna biru tua.
Polres Tanjung Jabung Barat menegaskan komitmennya untuk menindak tegas setiap tindak pidana yang meresahkan masyarakat serta mengimbau masyarakat untuk menyelesaikan setiap permasalahan dengan cara-cara yang tidak melanggar hukum.
