KUALA TUNGKAL – Wakil Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat, Dr. H. Katamso, S.A., S.E., M.E., secara resmi membuka Rapat Optimalisasi Pengawasan Keimigrasian Melalui Sinergitas Tim Pengawasan Orang Asing (Timpora) di Aula Pola Utama Kantor Bupati, Rabu (20/05/2026).
Dalam sambutannya, Wabup menekankan bahwa pengawasan terhadap keberadaan orang asing bukan sekadar urusan administrasi keimigrasian, melainkan bagian integral dari upaya menjaga stabilitas keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (Kamtibmas) serta mendukung pembangunan daerah.
"Keberadaan orang asing di wilayah kita harus terpantau dengan baik. Ini bukan untuk membatasi, tetapi untuk memastikan bahwa setiap kehadiran mereka memberikan dampak positif bagi daerah, sekaligus mencegah potensi gangguan keamanan, penyalahgunaan visa, atau aktivitas ilegal lainnya," tegas Wabup Katamso.
Rapat ini dihadiri oleh jajaran Forkopimda Tanjab Barat, perwakilan Kepala Kantor Wilayah Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi Jambi, Kepala Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II TPI Kuala Tungkal, perwakilan Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN) Kabupaten, serta seluruh anggota Timpora dari berbagai instansi terkait. Kehadiran lintas sektor ini menunjukkan komitmen serius Pemkab Tanjab Barat dalam menerapkan pendekatan whole-of-government dalam pengawasan keimigrasian.
Sinergi Lintas Instansi sebagai Kunci Utama
Wabup Katamso menyoroti pentingnya koordinasi yang solid antar-instansi yang tergabung dalam Timpora. Ia mengingatkan bahwa tantangan pengawasan orang asing di era globalisasi semakin kompleks, mulai dari wisatawan mancanegara, tenaga kerja asing, hingga investor. Oleh karena itu, data dan informasi harus saling terintegrasi antara Imigrasi, Kepolisian, TNI, Dinas Tenaga Kerja, Dinas Pariwisata, hingga Dinas Penanaman Modal dan PTSP.
"Jangan ada ego sektoral. Data dari Dinas Pariwisata tentang hotel yang dihuni warga negara asing harus segera dikomunikasikan dengan Imigrasi dan Polres. Begitu juga dengan izin kerja dari Disnaker. Sinergi ini adalah mata rantai yang tidak boleh putus," ujarnya.
Struktur Timpora Tanjab Barat yang Solid
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, dijelaskan kembali struktur organisasi Timpora Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat yang melibatkan unsur strategis:
* Penasihat: Bupati Tanjab Barat dan Kepala Kanwil Ditjen Imigrasi Jambi.
* Ketua: Kepala Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II TPI Kuala Tungkal.
* Sekretaris: Kepala Badan Kesbangpol Kab. Tanjab Barat.
* Anggota Inti: Meliputi Kapolres, Dandim 0419/Tanjab, Kajari, Kepala Kemenag, Kadis Tenaga Kerja, Kadis PMD, Kadis Dukcapil, Kadis Pariwisata, Kasat Polairud, Perwakilan BIN, dan Danpos TNI AL.
Kepala Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II TPI Kuala Tungkal selaku Ketua Timpora menyampaikan laporan bahwa rapat ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja pengawasan tahun sebelumnya dan menyusun strategi baru yang lebih proaktif. Salah satu fokus utama adalah peningkatan patroli gabungan dan pemanfaatan teknologi sistem informasi keimigrasian untuk mendeteksi pelanggaran sejak dini.
Dampak Positif bagi Investasi dan Keamanan
Wabup Katamso juga menegaskan bahwa pengawasan yang ketat justru akan menciptakan iklim investasi yang lebih sehat. Investor asing yang datang dengan prosedur yang benar akan merasa lebih aman dan dilindungi hukum, sementara oknum yang mencoba memanfaatkan celah hukum akan dicegah.
"Dengan stabilitas keamanan yang terjaga berkat sinergi Timpora ini, kita berharap Tanjab Barat semakin menarik bagi investasi yang berkualitas, sekaligus tetap menjaga kedaulatan wilayah dan kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal," tutup Wabup.
