BANGKO – Wakil Bupati Merangin, A. Khafidh, menghadiri acara perpisahan dan wisuda angkatan ke-20 Santri dan Santriwati Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Wal Hadits Al-Munawwaroh, Kelurahan Dusun Bangko, Kecamatan Bangko, Selasa (19/05).
Dalam acara yang mewisuda 32 siswa (8 putra dan 24 perempuan) tersebut, Wabup A. Khafidh menekankan pentingnya peran santri pasca-kelulusan, terutama untuk kembali ke desa (dusun) demi membentengi generasi muda dari dampak negatif teknologi.
Wabup A. Khafidh juga mengimbau para alumni santri yang kembali ke dusun masing-masing untuk aktif berkolaborasi dengan masyarakat setempat, khususnya dalam menghidupkan tradisi mengaji bagi anak-anak usia SD dan SMP.
"Untuk santri dan santriwati yang balik ke dusun, tolong diajak anak-anak yang masih sekolah di SD atau SMP yang tidak masuk pesantren. Kita ingin para santri berkolaborasi, mengajar ngaji. Minimal memanfaatkan waktu yang singkat antara Maghrib sampai Isya," ujar Wabup.
Program ini dinilai krusial sebagai benteng moral keluarga dan lingkungan di tengah masifnya penggunaan gawai (gadget) dan Android pada anak-anak saat ini. Menurutnya, pengawasan ketat dari lingkungan terdekat sangat diperlukan agar perkembangan teknologi bermakna positif, bukan sebaliknya.
Di sisi lain, Wabup juga mengingatkan pentingnya pengawasan ketat di lingkungan pesantren bersama aparat hukum dan dinas terkait, demi mencegah terjadinya hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan seperti kasus pelecehan yang tengah menjadi perhatian pemerintah daerah saat ini.
Selain mengajak pulang kampung untuk mensyiarkan agama, Wabup A. Khafidh juga mendorong para santri yang memiliki kesempatan dan kemampuan finansial untuk terus melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi.
Ia membeberkan bahwa peluang beasiswa dan jalur masuk perguruan tinggi negeri saat ini sangat terbuka lebar bagi para penghafal Al-Qur'an.
"Kesempatan sekarang ini banyak universitas yang menerima hafiz dan hafizah Al-Qur'an. Terutama yang hafal 30 juz, itu bisa masuk tanpa melalui tes," jelasnya.
Berdasarkan pengalamannya bersama Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Misrinaldi, saat masih bertugas di tingkat provinsi, tercatat ada banyak universitas ternama yang menyediakan jalur khusus ini.
Beberapa di antaranya meliputi Universitas Riau (Unri) di Pekanbaru, Universitas di Medan serta sedikitnya lima universitas negeri lainnya di Indonesia.
"Para hafiz dan hafizah dipandang sebagai orang-orang yang cerdik dan pandai, karena menghafal Al-Qur'an itu tingkat kesulitannya tinggi. Maka dari itu, manfaatkan kesempatan emas ini," pungkas Wabup.
Turut hadir mendampingi Wakil Bupati dalam kegiatan ini antara lain Asisten I Sekda, Sukoso, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Misrinaldi, Kepala Dinas Arsipus, Kabag Kesra, Agus Salim, Camat Bangko, Edward, Kapolsek Bangko, Iptu Adri, Perwakilan Kejari Merangin dan Perwakilan Kodim 0420/Sarko.
