Dalam sambutannya, Bupati M. Syukur menyampaikan komitmen membangun infrastruktur meski dalam kondisi efisiensi dan pengurangan anggaran.
"Saya memastikan setiap tahun selama saya menjabat Bupati, Tabir Selatan tetap dapat pengaspalan. Tahun 2026 ini ada juga proyek betonisasi, nyambung dari Sinar Gading keluar. Meskipun belum sepenuhnya, tapi tetap ada progres nyata tahun ini," ujar M. Syukur.
Bupati juga memaparkan data perbandingan yang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada sektor aksesibilitas. Pada tahun 2025, pembangunan jalan mencapai hampir 18 km, meningkat drastis dibandingkan tahun 2024 yang hanya 8 km.
"Kita lakukan efisiensi anggaran dan kita lakukan skala prioritas. Hasilnya, pembangunan jalan di masa kepemimpinan saya meningkat dua kali lipat lebih dibanding tahun sebelumnya," tegasnya.
Selain memaparkan program pembangunan, Bupati M. Syukur juga memberikan klarifikasi penting terkait kondisi Bank 9 Jambi guna meredam kekhawatiran masyarakat. Ia menegaskan bahwa stabilitas bank daerah tersebut tetap terjaga meski saat ini sedang dalam pengawasan OJK.
"Bapak dan Ibu jangan khawatir, saya sudah rapat dengan OJK dan para pemegang saham. Dipastikan tidak ada duit nasabah yang hilang. Bank Jambi adalah aset daerah kita, jadi jangan berbondong-bondong mengambil uang karena takut hilang," jelas Bupati.
Terkait gangguan pada layanan ATM dan e-banking, Bupati menjelaskan hal tersebut dilakukan karena adanya rekomendasi audit forensik dari OJK. Ia juga menjamin bahwa seluruh ASN tetap akan menerima gaji tepat waktu melalui mekanisme pengambilan manual selama proses sistem diperbaiki.
Menutup rangkaian acara, dilakukan penyerahan bantuan secara simbolis untuk mendukung kemaslahatan umat di Desa Sungai Sahut dari CSR Bank 9 Jambi: Rp5.000.000 dan bantuan Baznas Kabupaten Merangin: Rp1.500.000,-
Bupati berharap bantuan tersebut dapat bermanfaat bagi masjid dan masyarakat sekitar. Ia juga menyampaikan permohonan maaf karena jadwal Safari Ramadhan sempat tertunda beberapa kali demi menyesuaikan agenda bersama Pemerintah Provinsi Jam
