Hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut, Kepala BKKBN Perwakilan Provinsi Jambi Putut Riyatno Ketua TP PKK Sarolangun Ny Hj Risha Fitria Hurmin, Sekda Sarolangun Muhammad Arief, serta tamu undangan lainnya. 

Dalam kegiatan tersebut, tampak Bupati Sarolangun H Hurmin menyematkan toga para wisudawan dan wisudawati Lansia Tangguh penyerahan piagam serta memberikan 
148 paket sembako kepada para lansia. 

Bupati Sarolangun H Hurmin mengatakan, sekolah lansia merupakan bagian penting dalam program pendidikan jangka panjang sesuai amanah Peraturan Pemerintah nomor 88 Tahun 2021 untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan lanjut usia, dalam mewujudkan Lansia yang bertaqwa, aktif, produktif dan berkontribusi bagi masyarakat.

"Sekolah lansia di Kabupaten Sarolangun dilakukan sebanyak 14 kali pertemuan dari bulan Oktober s.d Desember 2025 kemarin. diharapkan dapat mengatasi masalah lansia di masa mendatang dan mewujudkan 7 Dimensi sekolah lansia dapat berjalan," kata Hurmin

Hurmin menambahkan Pemerintah Kabupaten Sarolangun siap mendukung program sekolah lansia ini yang saat ini baru ada di Lima Desa pada lima kecamatan dalam wilayah Kabupaten Sarolangun, yang tentunya kedepan diharapkan agar sekolah lansia ada di setiap kecamatan.

"Selamat kepada lansia peserta yang wisuda hari ini. Dengan mengucapkan Bismillahirrahmanirrahim kegiatan wisuda Akbar Sekolah Lansia Tangguh Standar I dan Standar II tingkat Kabupaten Sarolangun tahun 2026 dengan ini saya nyatakan ddibuka," tutupnya.
