JAMBI – Wakil Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Samsul Riduan, ST, menghadiri kegiatan Gerakan Pangan Murah (GPM) Nasional yang diselenggarakan di kawasan Citraland, Kota Jambi, Jumat (13/2/2026) pagi.
Kehadiran Samsul bertujuan untuk memastikan stabilitas harga bahan pokok di tengah masyarakat, khususnya menjelang bulan suci Ramadan.
Dalam tinjauannya, Samsul mengapresiasi langkah pemerintah yang telah menetapkan fokus pengawasan pada 18 item bahan pokok. Berdasarkan data tabel harga yang dipaparkan, kondisi harga pangan di Kota Jambi dinilai cukup baik dan terkendali.
Namun, politisi yang akrab disapa Bang Samsul ini memberikan catatan khusus terkait komoditas cabai rawit yang mengalami lonjakan harga signifikan di Kota Jambi.
"Kota Jambi yang tadi agak berlebih itu masalah cabe rawit. Itu pun memang lonjakannya agak jauh, dari Rp 47 ribu ke Rp 90 ribu. Artinya ini yang harus diwanti-wanti, agar harga di pasar ini stabil sesuai dengan yang sudah diterapkan oleh pemerintah," tegas Samsul di sela-sela acara.
Menanggapi potensi kenaikan harga menjelang Ramadan, Samsul mendorong Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Jambi untuk lebih proaktif melakukan pengawasan langsung di lapangan.
"Intinya memang harus rajin-rajin kita Pemprov turun ke bawah, sidak ke pasar. Supaya walaupun terjadi lonjakan, harganya jangan terlalu jauh (naiknya)," imbuhnya.
Selain menyoroti Kota Jambi, Samsul juga memantau perkembangan harga di daerah pemilihannya, yakni Kabupaten Sarolangun dan Merangin. Menurutnya, berdasarkan data GPM, stabilitas harga di kedua kabupaten tersebut justru menunjukkan tren yang lebih positif dibandingkan di kota.
"Kalau Sarolangun tadi saya lihat tabelnya lebih baik dari Kota malahan. Hanya kedelai tadi ada selisih sekitar Rp 2 ribu sampai Rp 3 ribu," jelasnya.
Samsul memastikan bahwa program Gerakan Pangan Murah ini sudah berlangsung dan berjalan dengan baik, sehingga masyarakat dapat menikmati harga pangan yang cukup stabil di tengah fluktuasi pasar.
