MUARABULIAN - Pemerintah Kabupaten Batang Hari terus berupaya mendorong pembangunan gerai Koperasi Merah Putih (Kopdes) di 124 desa dan kelurahan yang ada di Batang Hari.
Kepala Bidang Koperasi Disdagkop UKM Kabupaten Batang Hari, Idrus mengatakan, bahwa upaya ini sesuai dengan Surat Edaran Menteri Koperasi No. 4 2005 tentang pendataan aset.
Saat ini, kata Idrus, setidaknya ada 58 desa sudah memiliki aset dan siap dibangun. Kemudian 66 desa belum memiliki aset serta 20 unit gerai sedang dalam proses pembangunan.
Terkait hal itu, Idrus mengaku bahwa pihaknya telah meminta camat, desa dan kelurahan untuk inventarisasi aset desa dan pemda untuk dijadikan gerai koperasi," jelasnya.
Diketahui, dalam pembangunan gerai koperasi merah putih tersebut terdapat kendala utama seperti lokasi aset desa yang tidak strategis. Namun, pemerintah tetap memfasilitasi dan sosialisasi untuk percepatan pembangunan gerai.
Dimana tujuan akhirnya gerai itu nantinya akan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat melalui koperasi yang berkembang.
Idrus menjelaskan, bahwa terdapat 20 unit gerai yang sedang dibangun yaitu terletak di Desa Kilangan, kelurahan Sridadi, Rengas Condong, Teratai, Jembatan Mas, Awin, Kuap, Batin, Mekar Jaya, Sungkaj, Pompa Air, Jebak, Danau Embat, Bukit Sari, Tidar Kuranji, Kehidupan Baru, Teluk Leban, Olak Besar, Koto Boyo dan Jangga.
Dengan demikian pembangunan gerai tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan akses masyarakat Kabupaten Batang Hari terhadap layanan koperasi dan meningkatkan perekonomian lokal.
"Kita terus mendukung dan memfasilitasi pembangunan gerai koperasi itu, ini dilakukan agar dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat," tegasnya.
