BANGKO – Wakil Bupati Merangin, A. Khafidh, menggelar acara syukuran menempati rumah dinas di lingkungan Kelurahan Pematang Kandis, Bangko, Selasa (10/2). Acara ini berlangsung khidmat sekaligus dirangkaikan dengan penyambutan bulan suci Ramadan 1447 Hijriah. Hadir dalam acara tersebut Bupati Merangin M. Syukur beserta istri, unsur Forkopimda, Sekretaris Daerah, para Kepala OPD, para Kepala Perbankan dan pengusaha, tokoh agama, phingga jajaran perangkat RT dan desa. Dalam sambutannya, Wabup A. Khafidh menyampaikan rasa syukur atas terlaksananya rehab fasilitas rumah dinas tersebut. Ia menegaskan bahwa meskipun berstatus sebagai rumah jabatan, tempat tersebut merupakan rumah bagi seluruh masyarakat Merangin. "Seperti yang sering dikatakan Pak Bupati, rumah dinas adalah rumah bagi masyarakat semua. Kami terbuka, meski mungkin tidak penuh 24 jam karena ada jam istirahat," ujar Wabup sembari berseloroh yang disambut tawa para tamu undangan. Wabup menjelaskan bahwa kepindahannya memang sedikit terlambat sejak pelantikan pada 28 Februari 2025 lalu karena menunggu proses renovasi rampung. Ia berharap dengan menempati rumah dinas ini, koordinasi dan silaturahmi dengan berbagai lapisan masyarakat dapat terjalin lebih erat, terutama menjelang bulan suci Ramadan. Bupati Merangin M. Syukur menginstruksikan Sekretaris Daerah dan OPD terkait untuk segera melengkapi fasilitas penunjang di rumah dinas Wabup. "Tugas kami adalah memastikan Pak Wakil Bupati bisa bekerja dengan nyaman sehingga pelayanan kepada masyarakat bisa maksimal. Mengenai fasilitas yang kurang, insyaallah Pak Sekda dan kawan-kawan akan segera melengkapi," tegas Bupati M. Syukur. Bupati juga mengingatkan pentingnya nilai silaturahmi dalam momentum ini. Menurutnya, rumah dinas harus menjadi ruang diskusi untuk membangun Merangin ke arah yang lebih baik. "Jangan segan-segan datang ke sini, sebagaimana juga jangan segan datang ke rumah dinas Bupati. Apalagi sebentar lagi Ramadan, ini momen tepat untuk saling memaafkan dan memperkuat tali persaudaraan," pungkasnya. Acara kemudian dilanjutkan dengan doa bersama dan ramah tamah bersama para tokoh masyarakat, ulama, serta awak media yang hadir.
