MERANGIN – Satuan Reserse Kriminal (Sat Reskrim) Polres Merangin mengamankan seorang pria berinisial A.H. (58 TH) atas dugaan tindak pidana asusila anak dibawah umur berinisial S.I. (16 TH) yang beralamat di Desa Madras Kec. Jangkat. Penindakan dilakukan setelah pihak kepolisian menerima laporan dari keluarga korban dan melakukan serangkaian penyelidikan.
Peristiwa tersebut dilaporkan terjadi pada Kamis (05/02/2026) sekitar pukul 21.00 WIB di wilayah Kabupaten Merangin. Kasus ini terungkap setelah adanya pengaduan dari pihak keluarga korban terkait dugaan perbuatan asusila anak dibawah umur dilakukan oleh pelaku yang masih memiliki hubungan keluarga dengan korban selaku ayah tiri korban.
Berdasarkan keterangan awal, pelaku diduga menggunakan modus berpura-pura membantu korban dengan mengatakan bahwa korban sudah diguna-guna, kemudian pelaku mengatakan bisa mengobati korban dengan cara diurut, kemudian pelaku mengajak korban kekamar dengan tujuan akan diurut dan diobati, pada saat pelaku mengurut korban, pelaku melakukan pencabulan. Akibat kejadian tersebut, korban mengalami tekanan psikologis dan selanjutnya peristiwa itu ditangani oleh Unit PPA Sareskrim Polres Merangin untuk proses lebih lanjut.
Menindaklanjuti informasi tersebut, Tim Opsnal II Sat Reskrim segera melakukan penyelidikan dan pengumpulan bahan keterangan. Pada Sabtu (07/02/2026) sekitar pukul 20.30 WIB, pelaku berhasil diamankan di kediamannya di Desa Madras, Kecamatan Jangkat, Kabupaten Merangin. Dari hasil interogasi awal, pelaku mengakui perbuatannya dan langsung dibawa ke Polres Merangin untuk proses hukum serta diserahkan ke Unit PPA.
Polisi turut mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti berupa 1 lembar surat visum dari RS Kol. Abunjani Bangko dan 1 helai baju sweater warna hijau. Saat ini penyidik masih melakukan pemeriksaan lanjutan serta melengkapi berkas perkara guna proses hukum selanjutnya.
Kapolres Merangin AKBP Kiki Firmansyah Effendi, S.I.K., M.H., melalui Kasi Humas IPTU Sakirman menyampaikan Pelaku sudah berhasil kami amankan, Dari hasil pemeriksaan sementara Tersangka mengaku sudah 2 kali melakukan perbuatan cabul terhadap anak tirinya. Polres Merangin berkomitmen penuh dalam memberikan perlindungan terhadap perempuan dan anak serta memastikan setiap laporan ditangani secara serius. 
“Kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kepedulian dan pengawasan terhadap perempuan dan anak, serta segera melapor apabila mengetahui adanya tindakan yang mengarah pada kekerasan atau pelanggaran hukum,” ujarnya.
Ia menegaskan, pelaku akan diproses sesuai ketentuan hukum yang berlaku dan dijerat dengan Pasal 415 huruf b jo Pasal 418 ayat (1) KUHP Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2023, dengan ancaman pidana penjara 12 Tahun sesuai peraturan perundang-undangan
