BANGKO - Perang terhadap sampah menjadi instruksi lisan Presiden Prabowo kepada seluruh Kepala Daerah di Indonesia. Instruksi itu disampaikan saat Presiden Prabowo memimpin Rakor bersalah Kepala Daerah Seluruh Indonesia baru-baru ini.
Menindaklanjuti instruksi tersebut, Bupati Merangin M. Syukur menyumbangkan enam (6) bulan gajinya untuk "Perang terhadap Sampah".
Dukungan itu diwujudkan dalam bentuk lomba kebersihan tingkat OPD di Kabupaten Merangin. Uang sumbangan diserahkan langsung kepada Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, Syafrani disaksikan oleh Wabup A. Khafidh, Sekda Zulhifni dan para ASN lintas OPD di halaman Kantor Dinas Kominfo, Senin (9/2) pagi.
"Seperti janji saya, saya sumbangkan enam bulan gaji untuk dinas yang menang lomba kebersihan. Gaji saya Rp5,8 juta, jadi totalnya Rp34,8 juta, tapi saya ambil Rp30 juta untuk hadiah. Sisanya buat saya beli tisu," ujar M. Syukur dengan nada berseloroh saat menyerahkan bantuan tersebut.
Bupati menegaskan bahwa penentuan pemenang dilakukan oleh tim penilai independen untuk menjaga objektivitas. Ia menjamin tidak ada intervensi maupun praktik KKN dalam penilaian ini.
"Dinas LH saja tadi saya tanya hanya dapat juara harapan tiga. Ini bukti penilaian objektif dan tidak ada monopoli," tegasnya.
Kata Bupati, Presiden Prabowo dalam Rapat Koordinasi Nasional (Rakornas) Kepala Daerah beberapa waktu lalu menginstruksikan seluruh jajaran pemerintahan, TNI, dan Polri untuk memprioritaskan kebersihan lingkungan.
"Presiden meminta minimal 10 hingga 15 menit sebelum masuk kerja, kita harus membersihkan lingkungan masing-masing. Masalah sampah bukan lagi urusan lokal Merangin, tapi sudah menjadi isu nasional," tambahnya.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, M. Syukur juga memberikan teguran keras terkait rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat, termasuk oknum ASN, dalam membuang sampah. Ia mengaku masih sering melihat warga membuang sampah sembarangan dari jendela mobil atau motor.
"Saya dengar ada pegawai negeri yang kalau keluar rumah main lempar saja sampahnya dari motor atau mobil. Jangan sampai ketahuan Bupati, karena ada Perda-nya. Kalau tidak mau bayar denda, gajinya saya tahan," ujar Bupati mengingatkan.
Ia berharap para ASN dapat menjadi duta kebersihan di lingkungan tempat tinggal masing-masing. Menurutnya, program pemerintah sehebat apa pun tidak akan berhasil tanpa dukungan dan perubahan perilaku dari masyarakat.
