MERANGIN - Dalam rangka menciptakan kondisi lalu lintas yang aman dan tertib menjelang Operasi Ketupat atau mudik Lebaran 2026, Kepolisian Resor (Polres) Merangin melaksanakan apel gelar pasukan Operasi Keselamatan 2026 yang digelar dilapangan apel Polres Merangin pada Senin (02/02/2026) pagi.
Operasi yang digelar selama 2 pekan ini, difokuskan untuk menurunkan angka kecelakaan serta memberikan perlindungan maksimal bagi seluruh pengguna jalan.
Kapolres Merangin yang diwakili Waka Polres Merangin KOMPOL Devita Efrina,S.I.K, dalam amanatnya menyampaikan bahwa Operasi Keselamatan 2026 dijadwalkan berlangsung selama dua pekan dan dimulai pada 02 Februari 2026 s/d 15 Februari 2026.
”Operasi Keselamatan 2026 menempatkan keselamatan pengguna jalan sebagai prioritas utama. Fokus perhatian kita arahkan kepada pengguna jalan yang paling rentan, khususnya pejalan kaki dan pengendara roda dua," ujar Wakapolres.
Sebagai bagian dari upaya cipta kondisi sebelum pelaksanaan Operasi Ketupat 2026, Polres Merangin juga menaruh perhatian terhadap potensi gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (kamtibmas) di jalan raya. Masyarakat pun diimbau untuk lebih disiplin dan mematuhi aturan lalu lintas sebagai bagian dari persiapan menghadapi arus mudik Lebaran tahun 2026.
Dalam pelaksanaan Operasi Keselamatan 2026, Polres Merangin memfokuskan penindakan pada 9 bentuk pelanggaran yang sering terjadi di jalan raya:
• Pengendara Ranmor yang Melawan Arus (Pasal 287 Ayat 1 UU LLAJ)
• Pengendara Ranmor yang Masih di Bawah Umur atau Tidak Memiliki SIM (Pasal 281 Juncto 77 Ayat 1 UU LLAJ)
• Pengendara Ranmor yang Melebihi Batas Kecepatan (Pasal 287 Ayat 5 Juncto Pasal 106 Ayat 4 UU LLAJ)
• Pengendara yang Menggunakan HP Saat Berkendara (Pasal 283 UU LLAJ)
• Pengendara yang Dalam Pengaruh Alkohol (Pasal 311 UU LLAJ)
• Pengemudi Mobil yang Tidak Menggunakan Sabuk Pengaman (Pasal 289 UU LLAJ)
• Tanda Nomor Kendaraan Bermotor (TNKB) Tidak Sesuai Ketentuan (Pasal 280 UU LLAJ)
• Pengendara Sepeda Motor yang Tidak Menggunakan Helm SNI (Pasal 291 Ayat 1 UU LLAJ)
• Penggunaan Knalpot Bising / Brong (Pasal 285 Ayat 1)
Selain itu salah satu sasaran penindakan dalam Operasi Keselamatan tersebut, adalah praktik balap liar yang kerap membahayakan keselamatan pengguna jalan lainnya.
"Nantinya kami juga akan berkoordinasi dengan seluruh stakeholder guna melakukan pemeriksaan ketat terhadap kendaraan angkutan batu bara, bus dan travel melalui titik-titik check point agar nantinya saat libur Idul Fitri 2026 dapat berjalan aman dan tertib sesuai dengan yang diharapkan," lanjutnya.
Pemeriksaan pada titik-titik check point tersebut nantinya meliputi pengecekan kelaikan kendaraan atau ram check, serta memastikan kondisi fisik dan kesiapan pengemudi sebelum memasuki periode puncak arus mudik.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut Wakapolres juga mengingatkan kepada seluruh personil jajaran agar tetap mengedepankan pendekatan humanis dalam pelayanan. Menurutnya, kehadiran Polri dilapangan harus dapat dirasakan sebagai bentuk perlindungan dan pengayoman bagi masyarakat.
"Langkah ini merupakan komitmen Polri untuk hadir ditengah-tengah masyarakat guna memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman melalui pendekatan yang tegas namun humanis. Sesuai prinsip kita: 'Senyum Polantas adalah Marka Utama," tutupnya.
