Batangharinews.com, Jakarta – Komisi I DPRD Provinsi Jambi melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika, dan Statistik (Diskominfo) Provinsi DKI Jakarta, tgl 20 Januari 2026, untuk mendalami strategi penanganan hoaks, disinformasi, dan konten digital tidak akurat yang semakin masif di media sosial.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Komisi I mencatat bahwa Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta dan Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat memandang hoaks sebagai ancaman serius karena menyesatkan masyarakat, merugikan banyak pihak, dan merusak kepercayaan publik. Disinformasi dinilai tidak lagi bersifat sporadis, melainkan telah berkembang menjadi aktivitas terorganisir melalui berbagai platform digital.
Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat membentuk Saber Hoaks sebagai unit khusus penanganan klarifikasi dan literasi publik. Sementara itu, Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta menangani penyebaran hoaks secara terpadu melalui unit khusus dan berbagai kanal pelaporan resmi.
Melalui unit JalaHoaks (Jakarta Lawan Hoaks) yang dikelola Diskominfo DKI Jakarta, pemerintah melakukan verifikasi dan klarifikasi cepat terhadap informasi bohong yang beredar. Masyarakat dapat mengecek fakta atau melaporkan hoaks melalui situs resmi jalahoaks.jakarta.go.id, akun media sosial @jalahoaks, serta kanal layanan pengaduan resmi. Selain itu, Pemprov DKI juga menjalankan program edukasi dan literasi digital ke sekolah, kampus, dan organisasi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan warga menyaring informasi sebelum membagikannya.
Diskominfo DKI Jakarta juga memperkuat pemantauan berbasis data melalui Portal Analisis Berita Jakarta (POAP) untuk memonitor tren pemberitaan, isu dominan, dan sentimen media dari berbagai kanal, sehingga pemerintah dapat merespons lebih cepat dan terkoordinasi.
Komisi I DPRD Jambi menyoroti bahwa di sejumlah daerah, tantangan disinformasi masih cukup serius, ditandai dengan suburnya konten non-pers di platform seperti YouTube, TikTok, dan Instagram yang menyerupai produk jurnalistik namun tidak melalui mekanisme verifikasi, tidak terdaftar, dan tidak dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Kondisi ini membuat masyarakat rentan terpengaruh oleh informasi yang belum tentu benar.
Karena itu, Komisi I mendorong peningkatan kesadaran publik agar masyarakat aktif melakukan verifikasi serta memanfaatkan fitur pelaporan (report) yang tersedia di platform media sosial ketika menemukan konten hoaks atau menyesatkan. Di sisi lain, para pembuat dan penyebar hoaks diingatkan bahwa praktik tersebut semakin mendapat perhatian serius dan dapat berujung pada pertanggungjawaban hukum.
Kunjungan ini diharapkan menjadi pijakan bagi daerah untuk membangun sistem penanganan hoaks yang lebih tegas, terstruktur, dan berbasis data demi melindungi masyarakat dari disinformasi digital.
