 Wakil Bupati H.A. Khafidh memimpin langsung upacara peringatan yang digelar di halaman Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Merangin, Sabtu (03/01).
Upacara ini dihadiri oleh jajaran Forkopimda dan tokoh lintas sektoral, di antaranya Kabag Kesra Agus Salim, Ketua BAZNAS Merangin Marzuki Yahya, tokoh agama Buya Satar Saleh, Ketua Pengadilan Agama Azhar Amir, serta perwakilan dari Kodim 0420/Sarko dan Polres Merangin.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Wakil Bupati A. Khafidh membacakan sambutan tertulis Menteri Agama RI, Nasaruddin Umar. Mengusung tema "Umat Rukun dan Sinergi, Indonesia Damai dan Maju", ia menegaskan bahwa kerukunan bukan sekadar ketiadaan konflik, melainkan fondasi utama kemajuan bangsa.
"Kerukunan adalah sinergi yang produktif. Perbedaan identitas dan keyakinan harus dirajut menjadi kekuatan kolaboratif untuk menggerakkan kemajuan Indonesia," ujar Wabup A. Khafidh saat membacakan amanat tersebut.
Ia juga menyampaikan bahwa sepanjang tahun 2025, Kementerian Agama telah melakukan transformasi besar melalui semangat "Kemenag Berdampak", yang menitikberatkan pada layanan digital yang transparan dan penguatan ekonomi umat melalui zakat, wakaf, dan kemandirian pesantren.
Satu poin menarik dalam amanat yang dibacakan adalah penekanan terhadap tantangan teknologi masa depan. Di tengah era kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI), ASN Kementerian Agama diminta tidak hanya menjadi penonton, tetapi harus memiliki kedaulatan digital.
"ASN Kementerian Agama harus mampu mewarnai substansi AI dengan konten keagamaan yang otoritatif, moderat, dan menyejukkan. Kita harus memastikan algoritma masa depan tidak hampa dari nilai-nilai ketuhanan," tegasnya.
Untuk menjawab tantangan zaman yang serba cepat (VUCA), para aparatur Kemenag dituntut untuk menjadi pribadi yang agile (lincah), adaptif terhadap inovasi, serta responsif dalam melayani kebutuhan umat dengan integritas tinggi.
Sejalan dengan pesan pusat, momentum HAB ke-80 ini diharapkan memperkuat kerukunan antarumat beragama di Kabupaten Merangin.
 "Pemerintah daerah, Kemenag, dan tokoh masyarakat, diharapkan dapat menciptakan suasana kondusif yang mendukung percepatan pembangunan daerah," pungkasnya.
