MERANGIN - Upaya peredaran gelap narkotika jenis sabu di wilayah hukum Polres Merangin kembali berhasil digagalkan oleh Tim Opsnal Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polres Merangin.
Tepatnya pada hari jumat (12/12/2025) sekira pukul 01.00 Wib, Tim mengamankan seorang terduga pelaku berinisial MD (27), yang merupakan warga Desa Panti Kec.Sarolangun Kab.Sarolangun saat hendak mengedarkan sabu.
Peristiwa tersebut bermula pada hari sabtu (06/12/2025) sekira pukul 21.00 Wib, dimana Tim Opsnal Satresnarkoba Polres Merangin mendapatkan informasi dari masyarakat terkait maraknya transaksi jual beli narkotika jenis sabu di wilayah Desa Langling Kec.Bangko Kab.Merangin Prov.Jambi.
Berbekal informasi tersebut, Kasat Resnarkoba Polres Merangin AKP Rezi Darwis,SH.,M.M., langsung memerintahkan Tim Opsnal untuk melakukan penyelidikan. Tepatnya pada hari jumat (12/12/2025) sekira pukul 01.00 Wib, Tim berhasil mengamankan seorang terduga pelaku berinisial MD (27) saat dalam perjalanan tepatnya dijalan Desa Langling Kec.Bangko Kab. Merangin.
Pada saat dilakukan penggeledahan, polisi turut menyita sejumlah barang bukti lainnya, di antaranya 6 (enam) paket narkotika jenis sabu dalam plastik klip dengan berat Bruto 27,781 gram, 1 (satu) unit sepeda motor merk Honda Beat warna kuning, ?1 (satu) Buah timbang merk CHQ warna hitam, ?1 (satu) unit HP android merk INFINIX warna hitam, 1 (satu) buah Tas selempang warna abu-abu merk EIGER dan 4 (empat) pack plastik klip berbagai ukuran.
”Benar, tersangka MD ini, kami amankan saat akan mengedarkan narkotika jenis sabu dan pada saat dilakukan penggeledahan ditemukan barang bukti paket narkotika jenis sabu beserta barang bukti lainnya didalam Tas selempang yang saai itu disandang oleh tersangka. Selanjutnya tersangka dan barang bukti langsung kami amankan ke Polres Merangin untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut” ujar Rezi.
Sementara itu Kasubsi Penmas Polres Merangin AIPTU Ruly.S.Sy.,M.H, kepada awak media menjelaskan, bahwa dari hasil pemeriksaan sementara, tersangka MD mengaku barang haram tersebut didapat dengan cara membeli dari rekannya yang bersal dari Sumatera Selatan dan tersangka sudah beberapa kali mengedarkan barang haram tersebut kewilayah hukum Polres Merangin
”Benar, tersangka mengaku mendapatkan barang haram tersebut dengan cara membeli dari rekannya yang berasal dari Sumatera Selatan sebanyak 30 gram dengan harga Rp.19.500.000.- (sembilan belas juta lima ratus ribu rupiah), namun uang pembelian sabu tersebut akan dibayarkan setelah narkotika sabu tersebut habis terjual” jelas Ruly.
Lebih lanjut Ruly menambahkan, bahwa jaringan tersangka MD ini, dikenal sangat rapi dan licin. Oleh karena itu saat ini penyidik masih fokus untuk melakukan pendalaman terhadap keterangan tersangka.
”Jaringan tersangka ini dikenal sangat rapi, namun demikian penyidik tetap akan bekerja keras guna mengungkap jaringan tersangka MD ini sampai keakar-akarnya”, ujar Ruly.
Selain itu Ruly juga mengucapkan terimakasih atas partisifasi masyarakat selama ini, yang sudah memberikan informasi dalam pengungkapan dugaan penyalahgunaan narkotika di wilayah hukum Polres Merangin.
“Kami mengucapkan terimakasih kepada seluruh lapisan masyarakat yang sudah berperan aktif dalam pengungkapan kasus Narkoba, karena narkoba merupakan kejahatan serius yang merusak masa depan generasi mudah, oleh karena itu kami akan terus berkomitmen melakukan penindakan tegas dan mengajak masyarakat untuk ikut berperan aktif dalam memerangi peredaran serta penyalahgunaan narkotika,” tegas Ruly.
Guna mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya Tersangka MD dijerat dengan Pasal 114 ayat (2) Subsideir Pasal 112 ayat (2) Undang-undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika dengan ancaman paling singkat 6 (enam) tahun penjara dan paling lama 20 (dua puluh) tahun.
