?BANGKO – Bupati Merangin, M. Syukur, memimpin Apel Kesiapsiagaan dalam Menghadapi Potensi Bencana Hidrometeorologi Tahun 2025.
Dalam apel tersebut, Bupati mengimbau seluruh elemen masyarakat dan aparat untuk bersikap proaktif, terutama Camat dan Kepala Desa, dalam menghadapi ancaman bencana alam yang diprediksi terjadi.
?Apel yang digelar di halaman Kantor Dinas Kominfo, Jumat (12/12), ini diikuti oleh berbagai unsur, termasuk TNI, Polri, Brimob, Sat Pol PP, Damkar, Dishub, TRC BPBD Merangin, PMI, Pramuka, RAPI, ORARI, SENKOM, Relawan Bencana, serta perwakilan pengusaha.
?Dalam sambutannya, Bupati M. Syukur mengingatkan pentingnya kesiapan dan langkah pencegahan.
Ia menjabarkan beberapa langkah penting yang harus segera diambil selama masa siaga. Diantaranya melakukan pemantauan intensif di daerah rawan banjir dan tanah longsor, memetakan ulang daerah rawan bencana, mengadakan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang bahaya banjir dan tanah longsor dan mengaktifkan Posko Krisis Center dan membuka posko lapangan, dan mensiagakan Tim Reaksi Cepat (TRC) dan memastikan langkah cepat dan tepat bila diperlukan.
?Bupati secara khusus meminta para Camat dan Kepala Desa (Kades) se-Kabupaten Merangin untuk menjadi garda terdepan dalam penanganan bencana.
?"Camat dan Kades sebagai pemangku wilayah terdepan yang berada di lokasi, saya minta dapat memberikan informasi cepat saat penanganan dan membentuk posko siaga bencana di setiap kantor kecamatan dan kantor desa," pintanya.
?Selain kesiapsiagaan, Bupati juga mengimbau agar Camat dan Kades aktif memberikan peringatan kepada masyarakat untuk tidak melakukan aktivitas yang merusak lingkungan, seperti penebangan pohon besar yang berfungsi sebagai penyerap air dan penambangan emas ilegal (PETI) di bantaran sungai, karena aktivitas tersebut dapat memicu bencana.
?Kepada instansi terkait, Bupati menginstruksikan agar memberikan asistensi teknis, dukungan fasilitas, pengerahan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), serta pengamanan bagi petugas dan masyarakat di lokasi bencana.
?Bupati juga menyinggung amanat UU No. 24 Tahun 2007 tentang Penanggulangan Bencana, yang menegaskan tanggung jawab Pemerintah Daerah dalam menjamin pemenuhan hak masyarakat terdampak, perlindungan, pengurangan risiko bencana, dan alokasi dana yang memadai.
?Meskipun dihadapkan pada kendala tersebut, Bupati M. Syukur berkomitmen untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan penanggulangan bencana di masa depan.
?"Secara bertahap akan kita tingkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan penanggulangan bencana yang didukung oleh kualitas SDM, sarana dan prasarana serta alokasi dana yang memadai," tutupnya.
