Prosesi pelantikan yang berlangsung khidmat ini dilaksanakan di Aula Rumah Dinas Bupati Merangin pada Senin (8/12).
Dalam sambutannya, Bupati M. Syukur menegaskan peran vital seorang Sekretaris Daerah sebagai "jantung" roda pemerintahan.
Sebagai manajer birokrasi tertinggi di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Merangin, Sekda bertugas membantu kepala daerah dalam menyusun kebijakan serta mengoordinasikan seluruh Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD).
"Proses seleksi yang telah dilaksanakan berjalan secara terbuka, transparan, dan akuntabel. Saudara terpilih karena dinilai memiliki kapasitas, kompetensi, dan integritas terbaik untuk jabatan ini," ujar Bupati M. Syukur dalam arahannya.
Bupati juga memberikan instruksi khusus kepada Zulhufni untuk segera bekerja cepat. Ia meminta agar konsolidasi internal segera dilakukan demi memastikan visi dan misi "Merangin Baru" berjalan sesuai jalur.
"Segera lakukan akselerasi pembangunan dan konsolidasi internal. Pastikan program Bupati dan Wakil Bupati berjalan dengan mengedepankan disiplin dan profesionalisme. Bangun sinergi dan koordinasi yang kuat antar-OPD untuk mewujudkan Merangin Baru," tegas Bupati.
Turut hadir mendampingi Bupati, Wakil Bupati Merangin, A. Khafidh, yang menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada pejabat yang baru dilantik.
"Selamat atas pelantikan ini. Semoga amanah yang diemban dapat dijalankan dengan baik dan menjadi ladang amal ibadah," ucap Wabup A. Khafidh.
Pelantikan juga dihadiri oleh jajaran Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) Kabupaten Merangin, seluruh Kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD), serta Camat se-Kabupaten Merangin.
