MERANGIN - Aksi kemanusiaan untuk membantu para korban bencana alam yang terjadi di wilayah Provinsi Aceh, Sumatera Utara (Sumut) dan Sumatera Barat (Sumbar) terus dilakukan. Kali ini, aksi dilakukan oleh Polres Merangin Jambi.
Dibawah pimpinan AKBP Kiki Firmansyah Efendi,S.I.K.,M.H, personil Polres Merangin pada Kamis (04/12/2025) pagi, melakukan penggalangan dana untuk membantu para korban bencana alam. Kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk kepedulian Polri terhadap masyarakat yang tengah dilanda musibah,
Kapolres Merangin menyebut bahwa jajarannya bergerak cepat merespons kondisi darurat yang dialami warga Sumatera. Menurutnya, aksi kemanusiaan ini sebagai wujud solidaritas Polri terhadap sesama, terutama di situasi sulit.
“Saudara kita yang berada di wilayah Provinsi Aceh, Sumatera Utara (Sumut) dan Sumatera Barat (Sumbar) saat ini sedang menghadapi situasi yang sangat berat akibat bencana alam. Oleh karena itu mari kita bersama-sama menyisihkan sebagian rezki kita sebagai bentuk kepedulian kita untuk ikut membantu meringankan beban saudara-saudara kita yang tertimpah musibah,” ujar Kapolres Kapolres.
Dirinya juga mengapresiasi kerelaan anggotanya yang secara sukarela memberikan sumbangan. Diakui Kapolres, bahwa nilai bantuan bukanlah ukuran, namun yang terpenting adalah ketulusan dan empati untuk berbagi dan hadir ditengah-tengah masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
“Saya sangat menghargai keikhlasan anggota Polres Merangin dan Polsek Jajaran yang turut menyisihkan sebagian rezekinya. Ini menunjukkan bahwa semangat kemanusiaan selalu hidup dalam tubuh Polri,” tambah Kiki.
Setelah kegiatan penggalangan dana yang dilaksanakan dilapangan Apel, selanjutnya Personil Polres Merangin yang beragama islam melaksanakan kegiatan Sholat Ghaib dan Doa bersama di Masjid At- Taubah. Sedangkan personil yang beragama Nasrani melaksankan ibadah di Aula Wira Satya Polres Merangin.
Kasubsi Penmas Polres Merangin AIPTU Ruly.S.Sy.,M.H saat ditemui awak media menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan penggalangan dana dan pelaksanaan sholat Ghaib ini merupakan wujud kepedulian serta bela sungkawa atas bencana yang terjadi di Sumatera.
"Ini bentuk rasa belasungkawa terhadap saudara kita yang terdampak bencana di Sumatera, pagi ini kita bersama-sama mendoakan saudara-saudara kita, baik yang meninggal dunia maupun yang terkena musibah kiranya Allah SWT mengampuni semua dosa-dosanya dan kita juga mendoakan bagi keluarga yang ditinggalkan agar tetap kuat dan ikhlas dalam menghadapi musibah ini dan semoga musibah ini cepat teratasi " terangnya, Kamis (04/12/2025).
Penggalangan dana dan Sholat Ghaib ini tidak hanya dilakukan di Polres Merangin, melainkan juga dilaksanakan oleh Polsek jajaran Polres Merangin. Selanjutnya, bantuan yang terkumpul nanti akan dikumpulkan di Polda Jambi yang kemudian akan disalurkan melalui mekanisme resmi Polri kepada masyarakat terdampak bencana.
