BANGKO - Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin bergerak cepat mewujudkan visi kesehatan prima bagi masyarakat.
Senin, 1 Desember 2025, usai memimpin Apel Korpri, Bupati Merangin, M. Syukur, langsung menuju mobil dinas di halaman kantor Bupati.
Bukan ke ruang kerja, Ia mengarahkan kemudi menuju pusat layanan kesehatan daerah, RSUD Kolonel Abundjani Bangko.
Di sana, dua proyek strategis kabupaten sedang dikebut. Bupati M. Syukur secara langsung memantau pembangunan Gedung Cytotoxic dan Gedung Cath Lab.
Gedung Cath Lab merupakan ruang khusus yang dilengkapi teknologi canggih untuk pemeriksaan dan penanganan penyakit jantung dan pembuluh darah.
Sementara itu, Gedung Cytotoxic merupakan clean room dengan standar keselamatan ketat, dirancang khusus untuk meracik obat-obatan sitotoksik, seperti kemoterapi.
"Alhamdulillah, Rumah sakit kita, RSUD Kolonel Abundjani Bangko saat ini sedang menambah dua fasilitas baru. Ada Gedung Cytotoxic untuk kemoterapi dan meracik obat, ada juga gedung Cathlab untuk spesialis jantung," ujar Bupati M. Syukur sembari berharap kedua fasilitas dapat segera di-launching untuk masyarakat Merangin.
Selama ini lanjutnya, warga Merangin terpaksa ke luar daerah untuk mendapatkan layanan penyakit jantung, kanker, tumor dan sebagainya.
"Dengan adanya fasilitas Cath Lab dan Cytotoxic, Saya berharap RSUD Kolonel Abundjani bisa memberikan layanan spesialis jantung dan kemoterapi agar masyarakat Merangin tidak perlu lagi berobat ke luar daerah," harapnya.
