BANGKO – Wakil Bupati Merangin, A. Khafidh, menghadiri Apel Kesiapan dalam rangka Tanggap Darurat Bencana yang digelar pada Rabu (05/11) di halaman Mapolres Merangin.
Apel gabungan ini bertujuan memastikan kesiapsiagaan seluruh elemen dalam menghadapi potensi bencana di wilayah tersebut.
Apel tersebut diikuti oleh personel gabungan dari berbagai instansi, meliputi Polres Merangin, Kodim 0420 Sarko, Satuan Brimob, Satpol PP, BPBD, Damkar, Tagana, Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub), dan Tenaga Kesehatan dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Merangin.
Dalam arahannya, Kapolres Merangin menekankan pentingnya deteksi dini dan pemetaan wilayah rawan bencana secara berkelanjutan, serta kolaborasi antarpihak terkait.
"Berikan informasi dan himbauan. Pastikan kesiapan personel sarana dan prasarana, simulasikan kegiatan tanggap darurat bencana secara rutin, kedepankan ketepatan respon dalam tanggap darurat bencana, laksanakan tugas kemanusiaan dengan penuh empati Humanis dan profesionalisme," tegas Kapolres.
Setelah Apel Siaga selesai, Wakil Bupati A. Khafidh bersama Kapolres Merangin dan rombongan, langsung bergerak menuju kantor BPBD Kabupaten Merangin.
Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk meninjau langsung kondisi dan cara kerja alat-alat pendeteksi dini bencana serta kelengkapan tanggap darurat lainnya.
Wabup Khafidh tampak antusias memperhatikan demonstrasi cara kerja alat-alat tersebut. Ia menyatakan kepuasannya terhadap kesiapan fasilitas yang ada.
"Alhamdulillah, semua peralatan tanggap darurat dalam kondisi baik," ujar Wabup.
Ia berharap agar alat pendeteksi dini dapat bekerja optimal, sehingga potensi bencana bisa diketahui lebih cepat.
"Harapan kita, setiap bencana dapat terdeteksi lebih cepat sehingga kita bisa mengantisipasi adanya korban jiwa atau hal lain yang tidak kita inginkan," tutupnya singkat.
