MUARABULIAN - Wakil Bupati Batang Hari, H. Bakhtiar, SP mengajak DPD Tani Merdeka Kabupaten Batang Hari untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan di Kabupaten Batang Hari.
Mengenai kedaulatan dan ketahanan pangan, Wabup Bakhtiar menekankan pentingnya kontribusi semua pihak, termasuk petani dan masyarakat. Menurutnya sangat p enting untuk memperkuat sistem pertanian yang berkelanjutan dengan memperhatikan lingkungan.
"Produksi pangan harus meningkat secara terintegrasi, mencakup semua subsistem dari hulu ke hilir, termasuk pengelolaan air, benih, dan pemasaran," katanya.
Ia mengatakan, rangkaian agribisnis harus memastikan ketersediaan bahan baku industri yang terjangkau bagi masyarakat. Berbicara masalah kedaulatan pangan dan ketahanan pangan, berarti kita semua sudah memberikan kontribusi k epada masyarakat kita, baik itu para pelaku hingga memproduksi hasil pertanian.
Wabup Bakhtiar juga mengajak kepada semua jajaran pemerintahan Batang Hari untuk penguatan Tani Merdeka dari DPW maupun DPD, d engan memperkuat barisan barisan ini di tengah-tengah masyarakat kita.
"Kita berkeinginan semuanya menjalankan trans sistem secara berkelanjutan dan tetap memperhatikan lingkungan yang ekologis terhadap pembangunan pertanian," ujarnya.
Ketika berbicara masalah pertanian, banyak rangka yang sistem yang di dalamnya mengacu kepada subsistem. Kalau kita beri bicara community community, kita masukkan komunitas yang pangan holtikultural. Begitu juga dari hewan, besok ikan besok ternak. baik itu ternak besar dan kecil.
Begitu juga jenis ikan, semua ini menjadi bahan pangan yang menyumbangkan karbohidrat, protein maupun vitamin terhadap kehidupan, termasuk mineral kita dalam hal pengelolaan air. Ketika kita berbicara masalah pertanian, justru yang kita mengharapkan, produksi tanaman itu menjadi lebih baik, lebih meningkat.
Juga produktivitas lahan yang kita secara terintegrasi, dengan memikirkan bagaimana subsistem masing masing rangkaian lahan air maupun udara di lingkungan ini menjadi berkelanjutan.
Begitu juga sumber bahan produksi itu sendiri, baik dari hulu sampai ke hilir. Mulai dari penyediaan benih sampai ke pemasaran dan pengelolaan hasil ini yang menjadi perhatian sehingga rangkaian ini adalah rangkaian agribisnis," pungkasnya.
