Apa itu Gespegtabung? Dijelaskan Plt Kadis Kominfo Akhmad Khoirudin (Akhoi), ‘Gespegtabung’ adalah akronim dari Gerakan satu orang pegawai tanam satu bunga. Penanaman bunga itu dilakukan di perkarangan kantor Dinas Kominfo.
‘’Jadi setelah bunga itu ditanam, pegawai yang menanamnya wajib merawat bunga itu sampai tumbuh bersar dan indah. Di Diskominfo ada 48 orang pegawai, artinya akan  ada sebanyak 48 pohon bunga yang ditanam,’’ujar Akhoi.
Bagaimana kalau bunga yang ditanam itu, tidak terawat sehingga mati? Akhoi mengatakan, pegawai tersebut harus bertanggungjawab atas kelalaiannya, sehingga diminta harus menanam bunga jenis lainnya.
Setelah progam Gespegtabung itu dilaksanakan, sekitar pukul 09.30 Wib perkarangan kantor Dinas Kominfo Merangin sudah ramai dipenuhi aneka jenis bunga, diantaranya bunga Bougenville, bunga Lavender, bunga Mawar Merah, bunga Mawar Orange.
Tidak hanya itu, tapi juga ada bunga Ashoka Thailand, bunga Kertas, bunga Pucuk Merah, bunga Bunga Daun Pisang, bunga Keladi Sirih, bunga Ashoka Putih, bunga Cicak Rowo, bunga Wijayakusuma, bunga Bulir-bulir Cinta,  Kamboja dan aneka bunga lainnya.
Diprediksikan sebulan kedepan, bunga-bunga yang ditanam itu akan tumbuh subur dan indah, sehingga semakin memberi warna dan arona menawan bagi Kantor Dinas Kominfo, yang atapnya telah usang dan flaponnya sudah pada lepas tersebut.
