Diketahui, program ketahanan pangan tersebut dikelola oleh Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) milik Desa tersebut. 

Kades Batu Ampar Sri Damayanti mengucapkan terima kasih atas kehadiran Bupati Sarolangun Hurmin dalam acara Panen Perdana Jagung dan Ikan Lele di Desa nya. 

"Hari ini adalah momen penting bagi kami masyarakat Desa Batu Ampar. Panen perdana ini menjadi bukti nyata bahwa dana desa dapat memberikan manfaat langsung bagi masyarakat," kata Sri Damayanti. 

Damayanti menjelaskan panen jagung hari ini dengan luas tanam 2 hektar menghasilkan rata-rata 6 ton per hektar. 

"Mari kita jadikan panen perdana ini sebagai motivasi untuk terus berinovasi, bekerja keras, dan menjaga semangat gotong royong demi kesejahteraan masyarakat desa, " ungkapnya.

Sementara itu, Bupati Sarolangun Hurmin atas nama Pemerintah Kabupaten Sarolangun memberikan apresiasi atas kegiatan program ketahanan pangan berupa penanaman jagung dan budidaya ikan lele yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Desa Batu Ampar dan masyarakat. 

"Kita memberikan apresiasi dalam kegiatan panen jagung ini dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan ketahanan pangan di Kabupaten Sarolangun," kata H Hurmin. 

Pemerintah Kabupaten Sarolangun, Lanjut Hurmin, akan mendorong percepatan ketahanan pangan dalam wilayah kabupaten Sarolangun. Maka dari itu, kepada para petani baik itu perorangan dan kelompok tani padi, jserta holtikultura lainnya konsisten dengan bidang yang ditekuni tersebut.

"Hal ini dapat menjamin keberlangsungan ketahanan pangan, baik itu perorangan maupun kelompok tani atau kelompok perikanan," ujarnya. 

Hurmin juga mengajak masyarakat untuk tidak meninggalkan tradisi bertani sebab itu selain program presiden namun juga bagian dari tradisi nenek moyang yang harus membumi dan terjaga dengan baik di tengah masyarakat.

"Saya ingatkan dinas terkait untuk terus hadir di hati para petani, sebab petani merupakan tulang punggung keluarga dan bangsa. " tutupnya.
