Pada pelantikan itu bupati menyampaikan empat poin pesan penting kepada para pejabat yang dilantik. Keempat pesan penting itu, pertama jaga integritas dan loyalitas dalam setiap pelaksanaan tugas.
Kedua, bangun komunikasi dan koordinasi lintas sektor, agar program pembangunan berjalan selaras. Pesan ketiga, utamakan kepentingan masyarakat, karena tujuan utama Pemerintah adalah menghadirkan kesejahteraan dan pelayanan publik yang lebih baik.
Sedangkan pesan terakhir bupati kepada para pejabat pimpinan tinggi pratama yang dilantik, laksanakan visi dan misi daerah dengan penuh komitmen dan tanggungjawab.
‘’Saya yakin dengan pengalaman, kapasitas serta semangat yang saudara miliki, akan mampu mengemban tugas ini dengan baik, sekaligus memperkuat tata Kelola Pemerintahan yang bersih, efektif dan berorientasi hasil,’’tegas Bupati.
Pada kesempatan itu, Zulhifni yang baru dilantik menjadi Asisten Koordinasi Bidang Perekonomian dan Pembangunan, kembali dilantik bupati sebagai Penjabat Sekretaris Daerah Pemkab Merangin. 

Ini Sebanyak 15 Pejabat Pimpinan Tinggi Pratama yang Dilantik
1.     Hendri Widodo sebagai Staf Ahli Bupati bidang kemasyarakatan dan pengembangan SDM.
2.     Muhammad Sayuti sebagai Kepala Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja.
3.     Dadang Hikmatullah sebagai Sekretaris DPRD Merangin.
4.     Hennizor sebagai Asisten Administrasi Umum.
5.     Zainal Abidin sebagai Kepala Bappeda Merangin.
6.     Deddi Candra sebagai Kepala Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa.
7.     Muhammad Isnaini sebagai Kepala Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan,
8.     Suherman sebagai Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Pemuda dan Olahraga.
9.     Zulhifni sebagai Asisten Koordinasi Bidang Perekonomian dan Pembangunan sekaligus Pj Sekda Merangin.
10. drg Soni Propesma sebagai Kepala Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan KB.
11. Muhamad Arief sebagai Kepala Dinas Penanaman Modal, Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja
12. Abdul Lazik sebagi Kepala Dinas Sosial Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Anak.
13. Sukoso sebagai Asisten Koordinasi Bidang Pemerintahan dan Kesejahteraan Rakyat.
14. Defi Martika sebagai Kepala Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan.
15. Andrie Fransuman sebagai Kepala Dinas Koperasi, Usaha Kecil dan Menengah Perdagangan dan Perindustrian.
