Batangharinews.com - SKK Migas Sumbagsel – KKKS wilayah Jambi Jadestone Energy yang berlokasi di kecamatan Betara, Tanjung Jabung Barat (Tanjabbar) berikan beasiswa 2 warga Betara yakni Alvi Rahmi dan Elsa Angelina menempuh pendidikan di Politeknik Akamigas Palembang. Nantinya, keduanya akan menimba ilmu di Program Studi Eksplorasi Produksi Migas.
Program ini membuktikan kontribusi nyata positif yang dirasakan masyarakat terkait keberadaan industri hulu migas di Jambi, khususnya di Tanjabbar.
Penyerahan simbolis beasiswa dilakukan di sela acara Field Trip Forum Jurnalis Migas (FJM) Jambi bersama SKK Migas Sumbagsel – KKKS wilayah Jambi di Bumdes Bersama Betara.lkd, kecamatan Betara, Tanjabbar, Selasa (26/8/2025) siang.
Disampaikan Syafei selaku Kepala Departemen Formalitas dan Komunikasi SKK Migas Sumbagsel, bahwa direncanakan depannya akan disusul KKKS PetroChina Jabung Ltd yang memberikan beasiswa.
“Pada kesempatan ini juga akan dilaksanakan penyerahan beasiswa SKK Migas – KKKS Jadestone Energy dengan Politeknik Akamigas Palembang tahun 2025-2028 kepada pemerintah.”
“Inisiatif ini merupakan wujud nyata komitmen K3S dalam mendukung pembangunan sumber daya manusia di wilayah operasi. Jadi ini memang tahun pertama kita.”
“Insyaallah kalau sekarang dua (orang penerima beasiswa), nanti dari PetroChina juga ada tambahan,” ujar Syafei disambut tepuk tangan jurnalis dan undangan yang hadir.
Sementara, Amilia Miarti, ST, M.Si selaku Direktur Politeknik Akamigas Palembang menyampaikan terima kasih kepada SKK Migas Sumbagsel – KKKS Jadestone Energy yang mempercayai pihaknya untuk mendidik warga Betara menempuh pendidikan di kampusnya.
Ini semua, tambah Amilia Miarti, berkat kolaborasi antara pemerintah, industri hulu migas dan perguruan tinggi.
“Alhamdulillah hari ini bekerjasama dengan industri hulu migas, perguruan tinggi untuk bersama-sama menyatukan niat mencerdaskan anak bangsa,” ujar Amilia Miarti di sambutannya.
