Hampir saja skor bertambah ketika Kasat Reskrim AKP Mulyono nyaris mencetak gol tambahan, namun sayang sepakannya tipis melebar. Hingga peluit panjang dibunyikan, skor tetap 3-0 untuk kemenangan PJU Polres Merangin.
Usai pertandingan, Kapolres menyampaikan pesan edukatif di balik aturan unik tersebut.
“Helm ini simbol keselamatan. Kalau futsal saja kita pakai helm, apalagi saat berkendara di jalan raya. Harapannya, masyarakat makin sadar pentingnya keselamatan lalu lintas,” ungkapnya.
Kapolres juga menegaskan bahwa pertandingan futsal unik ini digelar bukan hanya untuk hiburan, tetapi juga bagian dari rangkaian memeriahkan HUT Kemerdekaan RI ke-80 tahun 2025.
“Selain edukasi, kegiatan ini juga untuk menyemarakkan 17 Agustus. Jadi ada unsur hiburannya, ada pesan keselamatan, sekaligus menumbuhkan kebersamaan antara Polri dan insan pers,” tambahnya.
Pertandingan ini juga menghadirkan hadiah unik. Tim PJU Polres Merangin diganjar satu ekor kambing, sementara Insan Pers masing-masing mendapat seekor ayam.
Menurut Kapolres, hadiah ini bukan sekadar hiburan, tetapi sarat pesan.
“Makna kambing dan ayam ini adalah pesan tentang ketahanan pangan, sesuai program pemerintah pusat. Jadi kita sekalian edukasi masyarakat dengan cara yang meriah,” jelasnya.
Menariknya, hadiah kambing yang seharusnya milik PJU justru dihibahkan kepada Insan Pers sebagai bentuk kebersamaan.
Sementara itu, wartawan Merangin Rhomadan Cerbitakasa menanggapi kekalahan timnya dengan nada bercanda.
“Kami sebenarnya sengaja mengalah karena mainnya di markas Polres. Kalau menang, nanti nggak enak sama PJU,” ucapnya sambil tertawa.
Pertandingan ini sekaligus menjadi penguat keakraban di momen family gathering Polres Merangin yang turut disaksikan keluarga besar anggota kepolisian.
