JAMBI - Serikat Media Siber Indonesia (SMSI) Provinsi Jambi terus membuat terobosan-terobosan untuk kemajuan dan kematangan organisasi. Dalam rapat dan pertemuan rutin, Jumat (8/8) di Soto Betawi Adjib Jambi, Mayang Ujung, beberapa ide muncul dalam kongko-kongko ala SMSI tersebut. Apa itu?
Diantaranya akan mendata dan mem-verifikasi ulang keanggotaan SMSI dengan technologi digital terkini untuk mempermudahkan masyarakat dan mitra kerja bisa melihat dan menyimak anggota SMSI diseluruh kabupaten kota.
‘’Ini yang harus kita lakukan, sehingga masyarakat atau mitra kerja bisa melihat dan memantau langsung keanggota SMSI yang ada di provinsi Jambi, mana yang aktif dan mana yang tidak aktif. Sehingga anggota yang tergabung di SMSI tak tersentuh dengan kata "media abal-abal," kata Mukhtadi Putranusa, Ketua SMSI Jambi.
Selain itu, jelas Mukhtadi, ini bagian dari cara SMSI untuk menunjukkan kematangan organisasi, membawa para anggota menuju media yang benar-benar profesional.
SMSI dengan technologi digital ini akan diluncurkan pada Sepetember 2025 nanti. Dalam peluncuran itu juga disertai dengan seminar semi pelatihan yang bertajuk "Memanfaatkan technologi untuk kemajuan perusahaan media".
Selain dua agenda tersebut juga disepakati rencana kunjungan ke Hongkong-Macau dan Shenzen yang semula apa awal September ditunda dengan berbagai pertimbangan, diantaranya mengikuti kampanye pemerintah untuk berhemat dan mengencangkan ikat pinggang menunda dulu berpergian ke luar negeri.
Meskipun demikian, kata Mukhtadi untuk pengganti penundaan itu maka pengurus SMSI akan menggantikan dengan wawasan lingkungan dan cinta alam yang asri yakni dengan cara wisata ke Kabutaten Kerinci.
Sementara itu, Sekeretaris SMSI Jambi, Pipin menyampaikan SMSI juga akan mengaktifkan Sayap Organisasi SMSI yakni Forum Pimred, karena kepengurusan forum Pimred belum sepenuhnya terisi dan antinya juga akan dikukuhkan di tengah acara peluncuran SMSI tekhnologi Digital tersebut.
Sebelum melakukan rapat, pengurus SMSI Provinsi Jambi juga melakukan diskusi dengan anggota DPD RI Sum Indra. (*)
