MUARABULIAN - Bunda PAUD Kabupaten Batang Hari, Zulva Fadhil terus mendorong terlaksananya Program Wajib Belajar 13 Tahun bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Batang Hari.
Sejak program tersebut ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Kemendikdasmen) pada tahun ajaran 2025/2026.
Bunda PAUD Kabupaten Batang Hari gencar melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya pendidikan usia dini bagi anak sebelum masuk ke ranah pendidikan SD, SMP dan SMA.
Bunda PAUD Kabupaten Batang Hari Zulva Fadhil mengungkapkan, program 13 tahun wajib belajar bertujuan untuk membentuk kebiasaan belajar anak secara berkelanjutan sejak usia dini.
Dirinya juga menilai, anak yang menempuh pendidikan usia dini memiliki daya tangkap dan keaktifan belajar yang lebih baik.
"PAUD dan TK ini sangat penting dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan bagi anak. Anak-anak yang menempuh pendidikan usia dini tentunya berbeda dengan anak yang langsung masuk SD, sebab anak yang menempuh pendidikan usia dini cenderung sudah terbiasa dengan proses pembelajaran," kata Zulva Fadhil.
Sejak program tersebut berjalan, Bunda Zulva tersebut giat melakukan sosialisasi door to door kepada masyarakat dengan cara mengunjungi sejumlah TK/PAUD di Batang Hari.
"Kita akan terus dorong program 13 Tahun Wajib Belajar ini sebab pada masa Indonesia Emas 2045 mendatang Indonesia juga dipegang oleh Generasi Emasnya," ujarnya.
Selain mendorong melalui Bunda Paud, program ini juga dorong melalui program TP PKK Batang Hari tepatnya Pokja 2 yang memang salah satu fokus utamanya pada dunia pendidikan.
Diketahui, sebelum ditetapkannya program 13 Tahun Wajib Belajar oleh pemerintah pusat pada tahun ajaran 2025/2026, Pemerintah Kabupaten Batang Hari sudah menerapkan program tersebut sejak beberapa tahun silam guna meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi anak serta menciptakan generasi yang unggul di masa akan datang.
Program tersebut tertuang dalam Peraturan Bupati (Perbup) Batang Hari Nomor 48 Tahun 2021 Tentang Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di Kabupaten Batang Hari yang termaktum di dalam BAB V tentang Program Wajib PAUD 1 (satu) Tahun Pra-Sekolah.
