MERANGIN – Operasi Patuh 2025 yang digelar selama 14 hari oleh Polres Merangin resmi berakhir. Dalam operasi tersebut, sebanyak 550 pelanggar lalu lintas ditindak oleh Satlantas Polres Merangin, baik melalui penilangan maupun teguran.
Kapolres Merangin AKBP Kiki Firmansyah Effendi, S.I.K.,M.H melalui Kasubsi PIDM Iptu M. Yusuf,S.H menyampaikan bahwa, pelanggaran terbanyak didominasi oleh pengendara sepeda motor yang tidak menggunakan helm, pengendara di bawah umur dan melawan arus
“Dari total 550 pelanggar, sebagian besar dikenakan tilang karena melakukan pelanggaran yang berpotensi menimbulkan kecelakaan lalu lintas,” ujar Iptu M. Yusuf, Selasa (29/7/25)
Selama operasi berlangsung, personel juga terus melakukan edukasi kepada masyarakat terkait pentingnya keselamatan berkendara. Sosialisasi dilakukan melalui spanduk, himbauan langsung di jalan raya, hingga penyuluhan di sekolah dan komunitas masyarakat.
“Kami akan terus mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk tetap mematuhi aturan lalu lintas, keselamatan di jalan raya adalah tanggung jawab kita bersama,” ungkapnya
Operasi Patuh 2025 sendiri digelar serentak secara nasional dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan masyarakat terhadap peraturan lalu lintas serta menurunkan angka kecelakaan di jalan raya.
“Walaupun Ops Patuh telah selesai, kami imbau masyarakat tetap mematuhi aturan lalu lintas. Kedisiplinan berlalu lintas harus tetap menjadi budaya. Ingat, keselamatan adalah kebutuhan bersama,” tegasnya.
